Received same call today. I'm thankful that I'm able to read messages from people like you who shared the same dilemma with me. At least I know now that this is a scam. I'm not anxious anymore.

At exactly 1:09 pm I received this phone call from a woman stating that my name and social security number had a court order and a restraining order placed against it. That I have 24 to 48 hours to respond to this call to call 757-214-6785 and she gave me a affidavit number NFLA____________.

I got the same call to my home from a woman who said I was being sued. Gave me a long distance number.I told her I couldn't pay for long distance call. She said if I did not call I would be sent to court. She gave me the number and an ID #.  When I called that number I told them I did not owe any money to anyone they said will see me in court and hung up on me. Thank you for the above information.

I recieved the same thing, and so did my mother.  We can work together and take them to court= If we cwn find them.

I am a senior  citizen and this was so upsetting to me to get this call.  What can we do to take the guys down. I know their are people out there maybe another senior who got scamed by them. Any ideas?

A Corrine Dunkin called me from this number, when I called back, it was a company called Debt Process Servers. They said I owed a payday loan company $1000.00 from 2009. I did take out some loans during that time, but they are paid in full. I double checked after this phone call, to make sure! Of course they can't give me the name of the specific company that I owe the money to. All they said is that they represent an umbrella company called: "Payday Loans and More" that represent many payday loan companies. I can't find this company listed anywhere on the internet.

There is no record of the company. This is a scam, I am sure someone has fallen for this and payed them money they are asking for. They hung up me when I called and said I do not owe Visa, because I do not have a credit card. I hope no one loses any money due to this scam. I thought the were calling older people but I can see it is anyone that they think they can get money from. I am glad I did not give any personal information to them.

Got similar message today on my unlisted cell phone... Called back twice but only got music recording after following their menu....As a retired VA State Inspector I am reporting this to the State Attorney General's Office, FTC, FBI, and the Federal Do Not Call List.. Cannot be legal as they violate all collection law protocols.

I also received a call from this person.  I don't know how she got my number.  My caller ID showed "Out of area" which made me very suspicious.  I was told to Google this number and found these messages.  The person identified herself as Debbie Carter and gave me a case #.  I am reporting it to my local police department and would recommend that others do the same.

He said he has given me all he has to give. I told him to make this his last phone call because I was turning over his name and that phone number to the police. Whether people realize it or not Pay Day Loan Companies are selling your personal info to other companies.

My wife paid them 2 years ago... They keep calling lol. Today not 10 mins ago got a call from this number I lied to them saying I'm not who THER looking for got my court number lmao retartds and they said if I don't call the number and provide it they will be calling every day atleast 600 times.

A voice mail was left on my home answering machine that Debby Carter, a "Special Investigator" was calling because Teresa Kelly was the potential recipient of a restraining order if she didn't act within 48 hours and that she needed to call (757) 214-6785 or have her attorney call on her behlaf or else the restraining order would isue.

I am a lawyer, the call came to my home telephone and I never heard of Teresa Kelly and quite frankly don't care if she does or does not have a restraining order. Its not anyone I ever heard of, if she even exits. I called the number and listened to music on hold for a few minutes then looked online and found that this is a scam.

Just received a call from 757-214-6785 advising me of complaints filed against me! For what, why or who I have no idea!!!!They did give me a case #.I plan on calling this # with a not so happy response!!!!!!!!!

do not call the number back because when you do call back they are actually tapping into your phone line to make long distance calls . i got the same message as others left on my voicemail and decided to research everything first and also called the sheriffs office and local pd ... again DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER back

I got the same call last night, about a Special Investigator and that my husband had 24 to 48 hours to call them back.  They give themselves too much credit by calling themselves "Special Investigators".

I recieved a call from an unknown number this morning.  The lady told me to call 757-214-6785,
ask for Mr. Clarke, and gave me a case number.  I did call this number-one time was left on hold for several minutes, next time hung up on, third time spoke with Mr Clarke who wanted to verify
identity using my social security number.  I asked for the name of the company suing me, someone named Loan, Inc.  I asked in which court was the suit filed-he couldn't tell me.  I told
him to mail whatever he had.  If they call again, I will file a complaint with the local
sheriff's office!

Someone keeps calling my father in laws house looking for my husband this last call was a guy named Brooke and he is an Investigator. i'm glad I researched and found out the number was a scam,

Yes, today I got a voicemail at a new phone number (home) that I had just established 2 weeks ago. Wow, was I freaked out - not so much now that I have read what others say about this number. Same thing - mine was Special Investigator Donnie Brook and he gave an affidavit number. I called back twice and sat on hold for about half hour both times. The second time I was finally told "please wait while I transfer your call" but all I got was a voicemail box to leave a message. I said - my name is very common, this is a new phone number - there is no reason on earth that someone would put a restraining order on me.  Reading what others have said, I certainly haven't done a payday loan ever in my life. What a scam. I changed my new phone number to non-published, should have done that in the first place due to having a very common name. Thanks, everyone.

He called saying his name is Brook and that he was calling in regards to an affidavit ligation. case# Yeon1552.  I told him to never call me at my work or I will report the call as an arrasment. He also asked for me to be quite that he was the one now in charge since I have not responded to any of my mail and that he was actually doing me a favor.  The man was rude, nasty and wanted me to feel intimitated by him. I simply kept talking over him and just getting him more pissed by the minute.  He finally blauted out the info that I have already provided.
