- clemonRecieved a call about 4:00 pm this afternoon at my house for my brother who has never lived with me at this address. They had his exact name and went on to say that they needed his number to get ahold of him and i told them i would contact him myself. I found this very odd because they call from a unknown number. The name Investigator Waters was who called with case# P44T-2438. My brother doesnt even live in the same state as me. Said this case dated back to 2010 and she couldnt tell me anymore than that, that she has told me too much already and that he needed to call back within 24 hours to resolve this matter or he would have to appear in court. Called back before I read all this stuff on here only to get the name of the company and then was put on hold for about 15 seconds on music before I hung up. I knew this was fishy and glad I got on here and found out what it was. Said to call number 757-214-6785 back.

- NettyI got a call from Tracy Gordon claiming they were calling about a case # and i was to call them back.. I just researched this number and thankfully found this site...I will now report them to FCC
- Caller: never stated
- younekk| 1 replyI also received a call today, from a female, whose name I don't recall. It was from an unavailable number, so I let it go to voice mail. Same message that everyone else is getting, my ref number is P4T2476...same phone number. I called back and sat on hold for 1.5 hours before giving up. I was worried sick before I looked it up online. I happen to work for a law enforcement agency, and was really worried when I heard "restraining order"...my job would not have been too happy about that outcome. Spoke to my supervisor who is going to have a fraud detective call and speak to me about the details, and even if they can't make a report, at least get the info to them. **Since I did not speak to anyone, I can't 100% claim it was Direct Process Service, butttt, I am going to assume it was.**

- nadiaJust got the call today, I was on my way to work and luckily my boss is well arounded about how the legal system worked. I allowed the private number to go to voicemail and had my boss check it out, and two of my friends. They all agreed it had nothing to do with court and if I was getting served the sheriff or a company would have to find me. Thank goodness I did what my friends suggested and did my research.

- AngryTwo of my sisters received calls saying that I needed to contact Connie Duncan, Special Investigator at (757)214-6785 within 48 hours with clam #C7AB3000. She said someone was taking out a restraining order on me... I called and got a recording (after I input claim number) that said I owed huge sum of money for a payday loan, which I have never had and that I could give them my bank info and the payments could be deducted automatically, so I would not have to go to court... Craziness!!!

- Charles| 1 replyEveryone needs to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Then follow up with your state's Attornet General's Office. We have had this happen to our clients who have filed for bankruptcy protection. We have called their office and they told the sttorney that they do not care about our laws and are not afraid. They even had the never to tell the attorney that they do not even think he is an attorney. File complaints with your Attorney General's Offices.
- Charles replies to CharlesSorry for the typos this company really gets on my nerves.

I was unable to speak with anyone but after researching the company online I quickly realized this is a scam. My father is busy taking care of my sick mother and does NOT have time for this nonsense. Please contact the appropriate authorities to shut this down. No one has time for this nonsense.

- LEE replies to Tony HI received a call from them today - 7/25/12. They have an affidavit and everything, fortunately I needed to get ready for work. I have never heard of the company they said they represented, but they made me a settlement offer in less than five minutes. They said I needed to settle today to get a good break on the amount due. I have used payday loans in the past, so I knew my bank name was out there. Fortunately I thought to Google the number, and now I will report them to the FCC. Thank you for having this blog on Google!!
- Raymond FastOkay, so I've read enough of the complaints on enough of these forums to see that a lot of people are getting the same calls I'm getting from these dirtbags. I tried to call them because I want to know how they got a number that I am not associated with and I want their assurance that I will not be harassed by them anymore. I did get through twice, but the person I was connected with refused to answer my questions or speak to me.
Fine. This is what I'm doing about it. I'm calling the number and leaving message after message demanding that they contact me and assure me that I will not hear from them again. My messages are very unpleasant. I also tell them that I will continue to harass them until I hear from them and they tell me what I want to hear. When I don't feel like talking to them, I place the receiver beside my computer speaker and play (very loudly) streaming radio from the Dominican Republic.
Let's fight fire with fire and make these dirtbags sorry they opened this can of worms. Call them back. Don't answer their questions, just demand information from them and assurance that they will not call you back. Of course, they won't talk to you, but harass the living daylights out of them anyway. Fill their voice mail with unpleasantries and useless dribble until they shutdown just to shut us up. - Ms LadyCalled told me I had a civil action and restraining order against me! WTH? whatever, Tmobile never allowed number now. I called and the lil guy gave me attitude. Not I said the blind man.

- SierraThat this was from a Civil Investigations Unit regarding a court case in which I was a Respondent and must appear and have my attorney call within 48 hours. It gave a complaint & affidavit # and said I must appear in reference to the claim and show cause. They tried to call this afternoon at 4:24 but left no message and then called and left the above message at 5:46. I have been literally freaking out because I have a severe tooth infection and was just in an auto accident last week and have no car until next week! I am so stressed out and ill and then I just kept calling the number over and over for about an hour and left several messages with my name and phone number. No one ever answered. I only heard the music playing for a long time and then the option to leave the message. I am worried that I have called and left my name (although the recording had my name on it). I am ill as I said and waiting to get in to have a very infected root canal surgically removed and have been in bed for days and now I have to deal with this stress! I am glad I looked this up. But how do we know this website is for real? I don't see anyone answering whether this is a scam, although obviously it is! Someone tried to scam me over two years ago and tried to say I owed money to one of those loan places I had never ever taken a loan out with and even called my daughter at work twice. I had to close my bank account and report to better business bureau and a whole lot of other places. Thankfully I am about to close my bank account right soon but meanwhile I don't know where they got my info and what all they have. It seems after all these complaints have been made that someone would have done something about it already! The number calling was 757-214-6785.

- P Ranga replies to RobGot the same message on my home VM this morning, got me really disturbed until I googled the phone number; First thing came on my mind was SCAM!!! but still got me worried as I am new to all legal things, never got even any driving tickets to attend court. much relieved now; but still wondering with all the complaints given by so many individuals with FCC, why is this hasn't stopped yet? Which department is responsible to take action against them?
- BarbaraMy son told me he received a call for me at his home for the above number...The person calling identified her self as Tracy Gordon...I kept calling the number and was put on hold to listen to music..Decided to research the name given Direct Process Servers and discovered that other people are be subjected to these type of calls also...I never did talk to anyone....Somehow someone has to be stopped
