Most collection companies - like this one - employ subhuman degenerates who have no other means within which to make money other than harassing and threatening debtors.

Your best bet is not to answer the phone - turn off your machine - and let them steam by not being able to even leave a message.  The only time these jerks get paid is when they collect so ..... if you give them your ear you are giving them full speed ahead to steamroll right over you.

I received a phone call from (775) 412-4499 yesteday. When I returned the call this morning asking to be removed from the calling list, the person at the other end of the line was extremely rude and kept asking me for additional phone numbers to verify the listing. Does she really think i'm going to give her my other company numbers????

Constant calls, some hang ups or leaves a 800-824-6191. No customer service skills. Stop buying old accounts trying to collect. This person you are asking for we have now idea whom it is.

PEOPLE, go to trapcall.com and stop the madness, at least on your ATT or T-Mobile phone.  It's free and it works.  As far as dealing with these people, you need to make it more fun.  Ask them personal questions, insult them, tell them that they will never get a penny and laugh.  THE HAVE NO LEGAL RECOURSE ON YOU OR THEY WOULD BE SUING YOU, NOT CALLING YOU!  TAKE CONTROL!!!  I literally tell them to f-themselves every time and then ask them if there is any thing else I can do for them.  They are really fun to toy with!  THEY CAN DO NOTHING!!!!  Telling them you are NEVER going to give them ONE PENNY and then laughing seems to irritate them.  When they ask why scream "BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE TO!" and laugh louder.  Life is too short for these bottom feeders....

They called several times today, with different collectors and numerous threats. I still do not know what supposed "debt" they are trying to collect. When they call the next time, I will be prepared. I will laugh at them and I will also use the "whistle and cymbals trick".  This only works if you can place your phone in such a way that you can use a loud unpleasant, and ear piercing noise maker (whistle, cymbals, stretched balloon neck to let out a loud whistle) to annoy them. They will stop soon enough.

Hi, I got a call just now. She said I owed over $600. from a Sam's account from 1998. I told her that was past the sol and to send me a validation letter and in turn I would send her back a letter.

They call me all the time asking for someone that I do not know. This has been going on for more than 4 years. When I tell them I do not know this person they more or less tell me I am lying. I have sent letters telling them to stop calling me as well as contacted the attorney general. This works for about 4 months and then it starts up again. I am not a well person so I am not in the position to get a lawyer to take them to court, and I do not want anything from them other than to be left alone. If anyone knows how to make them stop calling let me know.

Got a call today and it said to press 2 if this name is not you.  I did that and as soon as the woman started to talk I interupted her and asked for the business name and address.  Caller id came up unavailable with the number.  I get calls  all the time for other people with my same last name.  I asked her to take me off her call list.  I have the info and if they call again I will contact the FTC and BBB and send a letter to cease alll communication to this address and phone number

Received a call from this organization today regarding an unpaid bill. I asked from whom/company and they would not let me know. A lady name Rosie asked me for the four last numbers of my social security and I stated that I did not know who she was and refuse to give it. She then asked me for my address and I said no. She would not let me know that company said that I have an outstanding bill which is very, very hard to believe. I receive reports from Credit Keeper to make sure my credit is intact. These people are crazy, no one in their right mind is going to give up to strangers especially scam artists.

This caller continually calls to collect an amount from my husband's son who does not live with us and we have no affiliation with his loans.  They continue to call and harass us and we have told them they have the incorrect person.  Yet the calls continue

I just got a recording from this number and it said my name and if I was that person to press one. I did because I have been applying for postions and did not want to not answer from what may have been a potiential employer. When the call put me on hold after I thought no legitimate business would do this and I hung up. Before this I was getting several calls I did not answer from Unknown name Unknown number that I just let ring.  I am glad I looked this number up and read the comments. I have a feeling it is from a bill I had from about 25 years ago when I fell on hard times. The credit card company said they were going to write it off and I never heard from them again.  I don't even have any information on the card and the account is not on my credit report. I have all 3 of my credit reports and purchase a home based on that.  I would advise anyone to get caller ID if you do not have it and not have any discussion with these folks. I know that in a lot of states collection agencies are not allowed to call you more than once a month.  I once told one agency, hold on one second while I set up my tape recorder. I explained to them that I was allowed by law to record the call. I owed them money, even so they only called me once a month after that and I did pay the bill.  THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION DON'T TALK TO THEM.
