Received 3 calls from 775-412-4499 just today.........I don't have any old accounts that I never paid.  I've received other calls from other bogus phone numbers in the past and if you do not answer the phone they eventually will quit calling.

Keeping getting bogus calls on my cell phone from this number.... I never get calls from them on my land line and do not intend to answer their calls.  Believe it is some sort of racket...

Got a missed call from these people today. No idea who they are and they left no message.

apparently this number has the wrong number in their databank.  never heard of them.

It's a good thing that I have an application on my phone that blocks these type of calls.  I've never had a fingerhut account in my life.  I too am a victim of ID theft.  I filed a police report back in April '09, and I have an attorney working on this.

I just started recieving calls from this number today. They called 3 times. No idea who they are. I never answer 1-800s or out of states. I also don't check voicemail and everyone I know knows that so one can always assume it's a creditor and they leave either a blank message, or a computer generated "so-and-so" call us back at blah, blah, blah'.

I recieve my credit report every year so I know what's on there. I suggest everyone do the same. It's free once a year or if you were denied credit so there's no excuse. You don't have to pay for it.

Do not answer.  Claim I have something unpaid from 8 years ago but nothing they can send anything in writing?!!?

left 5/2 sec messages and couldn't understand.  weird!

Send these idiots a Cease & Desist notice to stop calling. Then they can only contact you by mail. For more info FTC.gov

I have been getting calls from this bottom feeders collection agency about
a supposed debit that is over 12 years old.

untill some poor schmuck pays up because they are scared

This number has called our house FOUR times today.  The recording says they are looking for someone we have never even heard of.  It gives you the option to push 2 if you are not that person, so that is what we have done each time, yet they still continue to call!  I work from home and this is getting VERY annoying and needs to stop immediately!

Collecting for an OLD capitol one debt dating back to 2003.  Got irate when I told them to mail me proof of this debt.  I told them proof needed to be transactions and not just a letter from them stating the amount. Told them not to contact me further on this issue without proof.

they say i owe from 2006 but can't give me the orig bill...that is my responsiblity...never heard of the company they are referenceing...so i hung up on them...no proof no dinero

It is a recording. They are looking for someone else and they give the 800-824-6191 number to contact them. They have been calling for weeks and multiple times during the day.  The calls persist even though you indicate that you are not the person they are looking for.

Each time a new one of these idiots call me I put them on my blocker.
It is a call blocker from Digitone Communications.
I don't work for them I am just a very very satisfied user.
I have about 26 numbers on it now--It can take 80 so I have lots of space left for the rest of  their
numbers.
Best money I ever spent.
Doesen't even ring--just flashes a little light and gives me the number that it blocked.

I have added  them in my contacts on my cell phone and put "none" under ring tones and it doesnt even ring. or go to cell phone web site and block #. wonderful things to have.

I agree that the credit reporting places need to be held accountable for investigating before the enter something on our file since it has become the  make or break of anyone getting a loan adn these fly by night collection agencies should not be able to resubmit a claim for an old account.

They call twice a day with computer voice asking if I'm Crystal Paradis.  I'm not.  Doesn't matter if I tell them that; they keep calling.  I'm sending them a bill for $25.00 for every phone call.  If they don't pay, I'll refer the matter to a collection agency...

This number calls my home number about 4-6 times a day!!! its really annoying
