THIS IS A SCAM....I checked with my branch and the manager and I called the fraud division.. on speakerphone, and there were no suspicious  activity on my account.   Do not give out any info to this number...call your branch or go in person.

Call 1800 PNC Bank. I received a call from this number and would not verify any private information. I called PNC and there was a $400 charge in a city 100's of miles from where I live. Went to a local branch and replaced card immediately.

It was PNC confirming activity on my debit card. This was legit.

SCAM I have received 3  calls from this number. I contacted PNC and they aaid it was NOT their number, but a scam that they are working hard to stop.

Call from this number asking for a purchase approval..  I called my cc and all my accounts are good.  DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL............

I received call--I too called PNC directly (phone # on website) not this #.  Was told by PNC that yes, it might be them with automated call...but to definitely call PNC 888 number vs. returning this call at this # just to be safe.

I just received this same call and became suspicious as well, so I did my homework as you say and called PNC fraud department. They cross referenced the number and said it wasn’t one of their numbers. They also said they would not ask for my billing zip code. It appears to be a SCAM.
