They seemed surprise that I have Direct TV. Could hardly understand them.

i canceled a cell phone account 3 months ago but for over a month now i get called everyday 3+ times a day and there is never anyone there i have called back 5 times and asked everyone there to take my name /number off the call list yet it still happens at this point it is harassment ATT sucks

Some Asian called from 800-288-2020 called saying he was with AT&T ( CALLER I.D. verified the number) and said our bill was probably more that $100 per month right?  When I asked him if he was with AT&T he said Yes.  Than I asked him " if he was with AT&T why couldn't he identify what my bill was exactly? "  he disconnected the call.
Assume he was going to try to sell me something or / and try to get the credit card number:??
I just don't understand why the caller I.D. identified  AT&T 's correct phone number.

Phone rang, a voice kept saying "Hello. Hello" half-heartedly. I answered "Yes?" and they HUNG UP. Who has  time for this crap?

They are scammers!!!, trying get your personal info .

Got a call from an Indian guy who was very hard to understand. I finally figured out that he was trying to tell me I had problems with my lab top. I proceeded to insult him and then hung up. Not sure how these calls are getting through since my phone provider has a service that is supposed to block these scammers.

These people are convicted felons.
They have very long criminal records.

Hung up on me when I asked why they are giving me a special? (when I have been asking for it for years)

scamers do not pick up or answer

They said it was att calling to tell me my account was suspended. I had two different options for how to fix it. Then the line went dead.

I also just received a recorded message from att saying my account was suspended.  Two options to fix.  I'm sure they were just trying to obtain personal information.  It didn't feel right and I hung up.  Contacted AT&T to verify my account and they said everything was fine.

Claimed to be AT&T on display.  Did not leave message.

Caller ID said AT&T but when I answered got only silence so assume a scammer.
