You guys crack me up. This number is AT&T Customer Care. If you want them to stop calling you about your account then call them and tell them to change your solict/ privacy settings on your account.  - I am a worker for AT&T.

Mobile purcharses are 3rd party that you guys say you didn't download. You can put a purchase blocker on your phone for free. Geez these are just like pop ups on your computer - Should I call HP to complain or my internet provider telling them to stop. smh. We can not control what you download or what is downloaded on your phone that caused the spam, but we can put a blocker on.

I just off the phone with Discover card, they are doing a dispute with Att,, on my bill was a bill for $37:07 for a att v500 10080,, I was looking on your website and there are the problem as me ,, can this be done with some one, using my credit card when I pay my bill,, I do not have att I have all Time Warner,, if you can tell me anything please do,, Discover has all ready started the dispute,, Thank You Dick SN

I have no idea who this number or person is or wants, he did call me by my first name which I never use so evidently it is someone who has personal information on me - he did have a heavy accent and left a number 888 to call him back, like I am wasting my time.  Evidently the do not call registry is not worth a hoot.

Apparently, this is an AT&T Customer Care number. I haven't been an AT&T customer since I left, some 3 years ago. I seem to recall that I owed some $40+ bucks. But, when I called to take care of the balance, they had already sold it to a bill collector. Too bad. The bill collector will never collect that one.

This ATTM Georgia charge on your credit card or debit card is a scam charge. Go to your Attorney General of your state and file a complaint.

Got a call from this number that showed up as "Customer Service" on my ATT cell phone, the guy sounded foreign and asked to verify my name and then asked some really vague questions about my service to try to keep me on the line. Told me there was a 50% discount they were going to apply to my bill if I answered all his questions. I played along but when he asked to verify the last 4 of my social and account password at the end of the call was when i knew something was up. I asked him to verify my address and it was incorrect. I asked him to verify my account number and he could not. When I asked to speak to his manager he hung up on me. I CALLED AT&T AND THEY ARE NOT OFFERING ANY DISCOUNTS LIKE THIS FOR TAKING A SURVEY!!! This is a phishing call, do not give out your personal information!

This is someone spoofing the AT&T Customer Care phone number in an attempt to extract personal information from people. You'll be singing a different tune when poor old Nana gets scammed for hundreds of dollars like some of these folks. Don't listen to this guy, don't give out your personal information. The only thing AT&T will ask you to verify is your numeric passcode.

I'm a victim of this.. I got a call on 24th april 2013 and I believe I shared some info but still not sure if had given last 4 of social. On 4/30/2013 my phone went out of service and next day when I went to the store they told me that someone hacked my account changed the SIM by verifying myself there on the call and made intl calls. I have got a msg from ATnT that it has croseed 200$. Fraud dept from AtnT will take care of the bills they said but I'm more concerned if there is anything else I should be checking becuase I'm not sure where else it may impact. I have kept fraud alert on my credit check.

OK, so then tell me why they keep calling me when I am not with AT&T.  I have no account with anyone it is a pay as you go phone. How do I get then to change my settings as you advise when I don't even have an account with AT&T?  Obviously there is something more to these calls.   The phone being called is a business phone for just one particular business purpose and it needed very rarely.  Nobody should have this number.  The number is never disclosed to anyone and I have no doubt that the caller is just robocalling me.  .  There are no downloads or texts to third parties with this phone, just occasional calls between employees.  The caller does not leave a message and I do not pick up because I don't want this number to be put on a spam list as active

A person with a strong accent called me from this number.  Said he was from AT&T and that was a possible outage going to occur on my wireless.  He asked if I was the person in charge of this account and wanted the last four digits of my social security number.  When I said I didn't give that type of information over the phone, he gave me a number to call to confirm that he was legit.  The number was 215-688-5734. which according to reverse phone check is a cell phone in Pennsylvania.  I contacted AT&T customer service and they said it wasn't from them.  I'll be watching my bill.

Just got a call from this number. With a recent increase of scam calls I get, I don't even bother picking it up anymore. I live in Quebec, Canada. My provider isn't AT&T. We don't even have AT&T in Canada. This is just some other BS.

I just got a call from this number.  He said he was ATT and called to check on my satisfaction with ATT. I hung up.

I am receiving repeated charges for this number and NO I am not getting email messages.  ATT did refund me and put on the blocker.  HOwever, they are not making any acknowledgement of the scam. I am jumping through hoops -- I have now called 4 times to address this issue.  ATT keeps claiming that we are using the app etc.  Frustrating.

Yes I just saw a charge on my checking for $213.99 for a v500 which I did not buy with the same phone number to call on my statement.
