- RandyI had this same thing come up on My daughters line. There were two 19.99 charges and of course first instinct was to go off. That was until I did some research on the matter and found that it is indeed a scam by these companies and that ATT has no affiliation with these companies. I had the purchase block put on her line and ATT was kind enough to refund the full amount on the charges.
- Anna Perryi kept getting weird texts from this number, that i ignored, until i got a ridiculous bill on my phone!
- Rhoda MacMasterI did not approve and have never heard of this company.
- Caller: OpenMarket
- LisaI received a charge on my last month bill for 9.99 from a download (this was connected to my daughters phone) called Mblox LANA 73000#4403. The number it was charged from was 800-331-0500. Today I asked that the subscription be cancelled, I guess I'll wait and see if it gets cancelled.
- Caller: not sure
- BWVJust noticed the charge of $5.30 and I was wondering what the heck that was for SMS ac:57413 ...so I called and ATT removed it and reimburssed me w.o any ?'s so Im thinking they have this info right by there side and they know it is a nuisance. How annoying!
- Mary Grop[I have no idea where this charge came from or who this number belongs to.
- DebbiTo all of the people who keep saying this is a normal charge -- it MAY be on your bill, but not on mine! By now, we all know the phone number is AT&T support -- it is not helpful to keep pointing that out. There are fraudulent charges on some bills to a variety of company names, apparently. Mine was for "DigitalContent" from OpenMarket. I received 3 text messages I never even knew about -- the first gave me a PIN, the second said I had 30 credits and the third said the service had been cancelled and I would not be billed. However, there was a charge for $14.99 plus tax on my bill. I went through AT&T's "Challenge a Charge" online, and was told too many refund requests had been made and mine was denied. I will be calling them tomorrow, since they are not open on Sundays.

- StaleyMy son has a new phone that we have the internet access purposely blocked. We have charges this month for $10.99 with a merchant name of Mblox and $9.99 listed as m-Qube.Inc. I am calling AT & T and see how hard this will be to have this reversed. Watch out for your children's phones!

- BinksI had this number on my wireless bill, with a charge of $19.99. Along with a description of " OPERATELE:75714#8089, Mblox ". I called AT&T and they're taking it off the bill. I got no idea what it was about. I found it on a bill that was a few months old, now I know to carefully review each bill.
- RoninI just got a charge to my bank account (!) from this number! I've never called them or received a call from them, yet somehow they charge my bank account $38.70??? I'm guessing there'll be a charge to my cell phone as well, based on the other comments here. This is obviously a scam, now I have to call my bank and ATT, I guess!
- WhitneyGot one today, didn't answer.
- jennywhat is this number used for
- Basketball fanI got text msg charge on my phone bill. Sometimes it's a 'text Elmo (or such) to 55533 to enter to win tickets' then they charge you $0.99 for the text and sign you up for a continual service. I texted the first time, so I'm not disputing the charge, but will check with AT&T and make sure I am not signed up for anything month to month. This was at a Harlem Globetrotters game, so I know what I was charged for, but I need to make sure it's not a monthly charge. You can get signed up for monthly services and not even know it.
- Caller: None
- MurphyGot charged for several months for unknown "mobile purchase and downloads", and the merchant contact shows 1-800-331-0500. I didn't download or purchase any [***] thing. We should sue this company.
- kcCalls to this number are coming in on my parents Jitterbug account. Jitterbug is not being nearly as nice as it seems AT & T is about removing the charges from their phone bill.
