Just received a call from Global Tel link  this is the third time in two days....left me a voicemail with an 877-650-4249 number if I would like to add a billing.  Found out that someone at women's facility in Ohio State Prison was trying to contact me....I requested a block on my number.  Was simple to do just gave my address and set a pin# hope that stops these calls!

I received a call a few times now and am not expecting a call from any one I know. Please remove me from the list.

I would like to block these calls. Very annoying.

My caller ID reflects Telephone # 304 496 8952. Since this is an unfamiliar #, I let voicemail pickup When I access voicemail, it says that someone from a "local correctional facility"  is trying to reach me and directs me to this phone number for "GTO":800 483 8314. When I call this number I am given several options, none of which directs me to live service.

These characters called me at work - this sounds like a phishing scheme!  I am not the cell phone do not call list and still got this call call.  I did not recognize it and did not pick up.

Has caller ID United States so unless the country is calling it has to be a scam.  So many of them lately.

I keep getting calls, over the past 4 days, from this number wanting me to set up account with credit card to accept calls from an inmate in Douglas County jail.  No one i know is in jail!  Ha! Where is DOUGLAS County?? When I called to have them stop calling me, I was hung up on 2x.

they keep calling my cell phone which I haven't given out the number. I don't answer and they don't leave a message.

10/12/2016 !  wow.  When I scanned through these reports, I was very surprised at the length of time that this has been going on.  I,too, had this number attempt to ring in, I declined. "They" left a message very similar to many others quoted here before.
To Note: Female voice. Definitely sounded to be a recording. (not a real person).
  The text of the message varied only slightly from others detailed before.   The vm I received said : "This is an important message from GTL about calls from an offender in a correctional facility. An offender at a correctional facility attempted to make a call to this #, but the call could not be completed due to billing restrictions..."
The caller goes on to detail how to contact their automated line in order to set up a pre-paid account, then eventually circles back around to the original number.
There was no statement of the name of the "correctional facility" & "GTL" was never explained.

Who is is trying to reach me from this facility?

Good luck with that this is a federal correctional facility site that sets up credit for calls inmates.

I am on the no call list

Received  a call from this number and as is my practice,  i let it ring because i didn't  recognize the number.  It actually left a recorded message.  Something about billing my provider.   I just hung up, deleted the message, and blocked the number.  It sounds like a scam for people to make calls and send you the charges.  I don't know exactly,  but just another scam attempt.   IMO, if you dont recognize the phone number don't answer it.  Legitimate callers will leave a message.   Cheers.

I don't know anyone in jail and they wouldn't call my cell phone number.

Why did I get this?

This is probably the 5th time in the passed year this number has called me. It's saying that someone from a correctional facility is trying to call me but their are restrictions due to billing issues. I don't know who it is nor do I care to know. I want it to stop. I'm not going to answer,  ever.
