I don't even own a home and I got a call from them.  It was a recorded message, but the thing is, they called my work's 1-800 number (I'm self employed as a strategic search engine optimization (SEO) consultant and front-end Web developer).

Guess it's time to report them since I'm also on the Do Not Call registry.

Okay I got a call from this number today stating they were Bank Of America and that they were looking for some documents because the recent ones were incomplete. I use to have Country Wide and they were bought out by BOA and we're doing a quick refinance for a lower rate...anyway, I told the woman that I called BOA and spoke with them about a week ago and they said everything was in order and good to go. I asked the woman who called me today what was incomplete and she said she didn't know that I could call this number ###-###-#### but I could make a payment with her if I wanted to give her my bank information.  I told her my payment is due on the 1st and that I will pay it online like I always do and that I was not comfortable giving out my bank information over the phone to someone who called me anyway.

I asked her for my account number so I could have it ready when I called the number she gave me. Long story short, I waited over 15 minutes on the phone to get through to this number and they said "that's not your complete account number and your address doesn't come up as anything and if there was something wrong with your account it would" She told me she was from Country Wide and had no idea why this woman would give me this number since I am with BOA now!  I called BOA immediately after, asked about my documents and they said they were complete, nothing missing, etc!  

I think they were either trying to scam me for my bank account info, or their computers are messed up and still have me for a customer. The scary thing is, that I nearly gave her my bank info but something nagged me not to and I'm so glad I listened to my inner self!

Beware, I'm not sure about this company.

I have received this call several times as well.  It appears they were able to get Countrywide customer numbers.  I get an Indian Guy who cannot pronounce my name properly so I tell him he has the wrong number.  My home loan is paid automatically and has never been late.  Countrywide no longer exists and now the call back says it is the home loan improvement line or something like that.  I am on the do not call list as well but it does not seem to matter to these people.

Received 5 MORE calls today from this number.  Have been receiving these calls for over a week.  How do we stop this?

We've been getting NUMEROUS calls from this number to our County Mental Health Emergency Crisis call center. When they hear our crisis team's standard greeting they hang up. When you call back they have a recording that initially claims they're bank of america. Stay on long enough and they actually let you know that they are a "debt collector". After going through phone hell faking an account number and zip I managed to get someone to answer. I explained we were county Govt and not who they were looking for and said he would "take care of it". He didn't. I got through a week later and convinced the guy to give me their customer service number. 1-800-669-6607. Customer service is looking into what can be done but I'm still doubtful that this will make any difference but we'll see.

I think it's a scam! The recorded message when I answered asked for my account number or ssn.  When I could not reach an operator I hung up and called the number back.  Now the message states it's Countrywide.  I have not accounts with BOA or Countrywide!  SCAM SCAM SCAM

I've been having my phone on silent for the past few weeks since I get so mad when they call.  I don't have an acct with Countrywide!  I've noticed that they call at least once a day on weekdays (mostly 2 times) and 3 times on Saturday MORNINGS.  out of the many calls, once a week a voicemail would be left...but once i check it, it's just a recording.  I'm hoping that they will realize that no one picks up and would stop calling.

Please hold for important phone call?  My relatives serving in warzones is important, not some piece of junk company wanting to sell me something.

Bank of America called me again about 10 times per day, cant stop them from calling me

This is Countrywide, now known as Bank of America. We had one late payment and now, if we don't pay by the first of the month they start calling every day, even though you're not late if your payment reaches them by the 16th of the month! Today alone, they called 5 times and it's only 4 PM! The payment isn't even "late" for 6 more days!!!!
This mortgage is on a deceased relative's house, so we're still settling it, but our own mortgage is with Countrywide/BofA, too. Not for long, though!

A message is frequently left on my wife's cell phone.
An automated announcement identifies the caller as : Bank of Amerika and states :
This is not a solicitation call.
It goes on to say:
Please call us tool free at 800 604 8630.
One time we answered and asked the calling agent to take us off the caliing list.
He apologized and indicated our request would be honored.
But the calls keep coming every week.

My loan was just sold to BOA from Taylor Bean and Whitaker.  This company has my cell phone number and the calls are coming back to back.  When I answer I am either hung up on , asked to call back the 800 number or set through a long line of prompts - NEVER A PERSON!

I keep getting phone calls from this number, and what pops up is Loan counseling, which is odd, so each time I answer it, the recorded voice asks me to please hold, then I am placed on hold for 2 min. then hung up on.

Weird.  We did have an acct. with countrywide years ago, but the account was sold.  Not sure why they hang up on me.  The calls are really annoying me.  This is the number they call from: 1`800`669`0102.

STOP CALLING!

These guys area pain.  They do not remove you from thier call list.  Call at all hours of the day & night and are not there when you answer & never leave a message.

called the customer service line and had to hang on the line a while before getting to a rep who when I explained that I like vicky from may 21 2009 above do not have an account with them they transfered me to thier vip group that sent an email to a manager to have my phone number removed from their dialer in the collections dept.

I have been receiving calls on my business cell phone for over a month now from 800-669-0102 but the recording, if it actually leaves a message, is not from Countrywide but "Bank of America Home Loans" stating that I need to call them and it's not a solicitation.

Needless to say, I don't have a home loan with BofA nor Countrywide.  I'm also on the do not call list.  Clearly a fraudulent call that won't stop.

I get calls from this number too!  I did have my mortgage with countrywide, but they switched to Bank of america.  They call incessantly as well, rarely leaving a message.

If you call the number back, it's a pre-recorded message.  I hate bank of america
