They continue to me, sometimes several times a day. Occasionally I accidentally answer; when I have, I ask to be put on their do-not-call list, which apparently doesn't exist!

This number calls at all hours of the day & night and are not there when you answer & do not leave a message.  Claims to be both a Home Retention Program and Debt Collector.  Wants you to give up your SSN and account numbers.  I do not know who this is and what account number they are even talking about!  Claims Bank of America supports them.  Says things to suggest they are helping you. But, I believe they are Identity Thieves. Never give them your personal information (SSN, address, driver license etc.). Going to report this case to FTU and police.  This number is a SCAM!!!!

If this was Countywide.  They were bought out by Bank Of America!  Now they are calling former Countywide morgtage owners for their loss and blaming it on BA and using former Countywide customers to get mad a BA for their sell out! Get over it Countywide, you failed!!!!! and you sold out.  Stop using people to instigate a war between you and BA.  Stop Harrassing people who do not owe you anything.  you sold their accounts to BA!

After the marathon 9/25 call, I started getting calls again.Called the same number and after 32 minutes Sarah told me my phone number is no longer in their system. We shall see.

Yeah - got these freakin' phone calls - they're from Bank of America.  Call Customer Service at 1-800-669-6607 and when you here the automated voice message say "agent" and you'll get around the loop.

Just keeps calling me at my work 6-8X a day. Very annoying..

Just got a call from them.  Didn't answer.  Called it back and got an auto attendant indicating this is "The Home Retention Team".

I too have a Country Wide Mortgage now sold to Bank of America.

This number calls my work number at least 3 times a day.  I do have a mortgage with Bank of America, formerly Countrywide Home Loan.  I never even provided my work number as my contact number. I picked up once since I am not familar with the number, and not sure if it was work related. The person stated my name, did not introduce himself, and did not state where he was calling from.  He asked if I need help in saving my property, and he is calling from a retention program that can save homeowners from foreclosure.  My mortgage is always on time and never late not even once, I don't need the service, and he politely hung up.  That's how this number caught my attention from then on.  Finally it got on my nerve that they call a few times in a day, so I try calling back, it is from Countrywide Home Retention Team.  Occasionally, I do receive voicemail at home about promotions from Bank of America home loans, but never mentioned anything about retention, and they no longer call using Countrywide, so I think this is definitely a spam, and I am about to contact Bank of America to find out if they are involved with these calls.

Hass been calling my phone for the last 3 months.. wasn't able to talk to anyone and when called back can't get somebody as well.

Kept getting calls from this number saying Home Retention Team.  I finally talked to them and told them that BofA turned me down for a Modification because I was unemployed.  Anyway a couple days later supposedly BofA called me back saying the rep must of entered my info into the wrong system and I do qualify and to expect a Fedex packet with all docs to sign and return.  A month later (10/20) after I called 800 669 0102 back asking about status I mysteriously receive the Fedex packet the next day (10/21.  I thought great!  well the docs looked kind of off...like the logo was blurred so I went to my local BofA and showed them to the manager.  She called the numbers and ask the person for their "XXX" number and the lady on the phone was rude and said she didn't have an "XXX" number.  THe manager told me this is the first clue something isn't right because all depts of BofA have a specific "XXX" number assigned where she can look them up in the corporate database and verify them.  The lady put a supervisor on the phone and the lady screamed at her saying she was with "THE HOPE TEAM" and not a B of A employee. She then called the corporate mortgage team and asked them about it.  They said we have a hope team and here is there number...800 669 0102.  Now - Is BofA running this scam trying to get people to send in "4 Trial payments" then say woops you don't qualify and by the way we never received your mortgage payments the last 4 months and we are selling your home at auction. Found info on another blog this is happening to people involved with BofA.  I'm going to continue my normal payment and not send any docs to the address on the Fedex return label...by the way the branch couldn't identify the Broomfield address as one of theirs.  So what the hell is going on ?  I am going to my credit union and going to try and get my loan refi'd thru them because I believe BofA is behind these scams.

They call every 20 minutes.  Look! They just called again!  We pay our mortgage but they still call.  I am going to answer next time they call.

I received several phone calls from this number over the past few weeks. I don't have an account with Countrywide and I called the number to ask them to stop calling, but I have to have an account number to talk to someone. So - I can't talk to them.

This number is calling me on a daily basis. If I do not answer the phone they do not leave a message. When I've talked to them they claim to be debt collectors from Bank of America home loans. I have never missed a payment nor been late on a payment. I even pay more than the required payment. Anyway, they won't identify themselves and when I ask for a supervisor they apologize for the call and hangup. I called Bank of America today and they say there is nothing wrong with my account and they have not turned me over to collections. They have no idea why I am receiving these calls.
When they called again tonight I again told them to stop calling me and to remove my number form their data base. Cross your fingers :-)

Gentlemen,

You are calling my home at the rate of 6 to 10 times a day. This has been going on for three weeks and we are unable to contact you to STOP this calling. We are not in back debt on our mortgage and we do not understand why you keep calling here. We are respectfully asking you to cease the calling.
This calling goes on all day and into the night and must stop.

We spoke with a representative at this number who agreed we should not be called and told us it would stop as of 11/04/09.  Please remove us from your call list ASAP.

I keep getting calls from this number they do not leave a message. when I do answer I get a recording telling me to call BofA. My payments are not late, and I would like to know how to stop the calls.

here's something funny as I am typing they are calling my cell phone.

I got a phone call from them a couple of times in the last few days. First time I was told, to hold the line and now I rejected it. What a shame !!!
