Fraud alert.  Our number was called today and the person could barely say our name.  However, they could ask for our last 4 digits of SSAN in perfect English.  Obvious attempt to commit fraud.

Received a call from 800 669-0102. I don't answer 800 numbers.  

Message on answering machine stated it was from Bank of America Equity Loans debt collection (yes I have an equity loan). Called back they wanted acct N# - I hung up and called Bank of America directly - every thing is in order.  

Looks like they changed name from Country Wide to Bank of America  THIS IS PHISHING! (fraud)

DO NOT GIVE ACCT #s and SOC SEC numbers unless you initiated the call.

Claims to be calling from Bank of America,  and the caller ask me to confirm my ssn

They keep calling my work line

I have received phone calls at 11:30 PM, 4:00 AM, 6:30 AM.  On a few days, I have received calls on an hourly basis.  
BOA has procurred all my accounts, both secured and un secured. BOA is driving me to bankruptcy. But are they offering me a job?? I believe that they also own Wells Fargo and Wachovia banks as well.

Received several calls this morning.  Answered the first call and nobody was on the line.  Let the second call go to voicemail, but voicemail was dead air. I still heard noise, just nobody talking. Did a search for the number, found this site.  GREAT SITE! very helpful to know that someone found my phone number and is trying to get information out of me.

I have been getting calls from these guys, and today I spoke to someone who wanted information about my Bank of America mortgage. I was aked for my
SS # "as proof of identity",as if I would give that out over the phone.This smells bad.

This number has called my cell phone 26 times in the past month.  A few times they have left a voicemail instructing me to "Call Bank Of America Home Loans". I have never had mortgage with Countrywide or Bank Of America.

About one week ago I began getting calls from 800.669.0102. No message. No person. No anything except hold and then there's no one to speak to.  It may be Countrywide or now Bank of America ... Today I had about 10 calls ... What time wasters besides .......

I get calls from this number a lot I do not have a home loan w/ CW or BOA so no account # to give and I will not give them my SS#.Please help me

Call during business hours and do not leave a message. I sign up for the "do no call list" but to no avail! CountryWide was purchased by BoA so they are continuing with these incessant calls???

these call with no regard for anyone or thing cannot find a way to stop them!
i don't owe them or even know them and don't want to.

I am getting continuous phone calls on my work cell phone with no message.  I contacted them and told them to remove my number and they claim that they don't have my number in their system.  After 25 minutes and my telling them to put me in contact with their IT department to change their automated call log, they put me on hold for 10 minutes before they just disconnected the line.  My next step is a poolice report.

Keep getting this number on caller ID. I have no business with any company that has this number when I bing it. I'm getting tired of these calls.

"800-669-0102" and "800-669-6607" both take you to the Mortgage (Home Loans) call center for Bank of America (BAC).

The prompts require you to enter a phone number or social security number.  Instead, say "Operator" and it will take you to another prompt.  Repeat "Operator" and it will direct you to a representative.

The representative informed me that they could take my number off the list if I provided them with my telephone number.  Will post an update when I have more info.

They keep calling me saying they are bank of America (who bought out countrywide) and asking me for the last 4 numbers of my ssn. I refuse to give it and they say they need to talk to me about my account and need to verify that they are talking to the right person. They say they have no idea why they are calling and that once I give them my ssn they will be able to access the account and tell me. They called about 6 times today all using different numbers

Trust me....ignore these calls!  I cannot stress this enough!  I do have 2 mortgages through BOA (fka Countrywide)....however I am not late on them.  They try to get information on you like SS#, etc.  They barely speak English and half the time are not there when you answer the phone.  The call my cell but I don't answer since I do not want to waste even one cell minute on these jerks.  They have even called me to "remind" me not to be late on my payments....WTF?????

This number called me saying they're from Bank of America Home Loans, when I called, they asked for my account number.  I called the BA Customer Service and they told me that number is NOT connected in anyway with Bank of America.

THE REPRESENTATIVE SAID WAS CALLING FROM BANK OF AMERICA AND THAT THIS CALL WILL BE RECORDED AND ASK ME THE LAST 4 DIGIT OF MY SS THEN I ASK IF I CAN CALL BACK BECOUSE THIS IS MY CELL PHONE AND HE SAID YOU CAN CALL BACK TOMOROW THE  DEPARTMENT IS CLOSE.  MY QUESTION IS IF TODAY IS A HOLIDAY AND BANK OF AMERICA IS CLOSED  WHY THEY ARE CALLING FOR??????????????????

AND ANOTHER THING HE SAID WAS DEBT COLLECTOR AND MY HOME LOAN BALANCE IS CURRENT AND NEVER EVER SINCE I BOUGHT THIS HOUSE I AM BEEN LATE.
