this number keeps calling my phone and if you do anser it just asks you about a loan that i know nothing about

The first two times this number called, I answered and got a recording "please hold we have an important message for you" but no one ever answered the phone.  Now I let it go to voice mail and the same thing is left on the voice mail.

I have a Countrywide now BoA loan, but it is current and there are no issues with it.  So, that can't be the reason for them calling.

And, for the person who wrote about life circumstances making it difficult or impossible to pay, I fully understand.  If just one person in your family gets cancer, you are more likely than not to be financially bankrupt in no time at all.  People forget that health insurance policies have a cap as to how much they will pay out.  Cancer patients quickly reach that limit and then the patient is unable to pay for services at the same time they are sick and unable to work.

My cousin was recently diagnosed with cancer.  She will leave her husband with their youngest child who is 6 years old to raise on half the income they are used to with all the bills and additionally  the cancer bills because she does not have health insurance.

Received a phone call from a "Kevin", sho sounded nothing like a "Kevin" who claimed to be from Bank of America telling me my mortgage was late. It's not. I hung up on them.

Caller ID says bank of America-What ever! I don't have a mortgage-and I don't associate with this company or Country wide.All my bills are paid up.So unless they are mistaken or My name is spelled the same as someone that has beef with this company-I don't see why they care calling me.And I'm also unlisted!

They have been calling for over 1 1/2yrs keep asking them to remove my number.  When I ask to talk with a manager they usually hang up on me.  I found this and other sites today and saw all the other similar complaints so I read some of them to Ashley Franklin (1 of 3 reps that called me today) and he immediately hung up on me.  I have filed a complaint with the FCC.  It is Bank of America they are telling me not Countrywide.  Not sure how that is.

When you get the form from the FCC asking you to attest to being harassed by the number, sign it and send it back.

The number will stop calling you. As soon as I filed complaint with the FCC, all the harassement from this numbers stopped.

The harassment was annoying, maddening, and even threatening, as I've never even had a home loan before. This company, saying it was BofA, was very aggressively trying to prove me the mortgage holder over the phone without so much as a verified account, or even my name.

It's either in ID theft scam to get home loans paid, paid again - but on someone elses home loan, not yours, OR, a group of criminals, even terrorists, trying to steal American IDs.

I called BofA today and they said the 800-669-0102 is their collection agency.  They transferred me but the guy said I need to wait for the call he could not help me or transfer me.  Then that number called my cell phone again as I angrily hung up the phone with the useless rep and I went ahead and punched in some #s then was able to get through to a rep...basically he was asking me if I owned a property I rented almost 10 years ago! Not sure why the old landlord would use my info! Anyway he said he has removed me so hopefully that is the end of that, I will also file a complaint with FCC.

We filed bankruptcy 2+ years ago and they have called wanting money ever sense. Sometimes 9 times a day... We tell them about the bankruptcy but they don't care. They are nasty and have hung up on us, calling back a couple hours later. This is all hours, day and night.

Bank of America has this endless bank of Indians with automatic dialers hitting my cell phone every day and start by wanting the last 4 of my SS# ( the last four can do damage). I call their normal number and its impossible to get a live body even though I have almost 2 Million in mortgages with them ?? How do I get them to stop ????

I got a call from 800-669-0102 this morning. They've been calling the last few days. They claimed to be Bank of America, but since I just went through with a modification I could tell it was not BofA, because they go through a whole speech before they ask for anything from you. I told the young lady I was not going to give her any info because I didn't know if it was BofA, and she gave me the number. I imagine this works better than phishing, as people are for the most part aware of fake e-mails, but not as aware about these sort of phone calls.

I get a 3 - 5 of these calls everyday for at least 2 weeks.  I have not once complied with their request to verify my info.  I have started asking their names and just go off on them, and explain that if I have not verified my info and they can not speak with me then they should mark my number as bad and stop calling me.  This has not happened yet, and I don't see them stopping so, I will continue to rip them when they call and not let them say anything except thier name.

I also filed a compalint with fcc today hoping the calls will also stop from coming in to my residency

Constant harassing phone calls wanting to speak to ELIZABETH MALARCHICK.  This person is unknown to me and does NOT live at this house - has NEVER lived at this house - has no association with me or this number.  I have told the debt collectors this every time but they continue to call 8.15am to 9pm several times nearly every day.
Today the person (YWETTA) gave me 1800 669 0102 to call and make a complaint but it is only possible to access this number and speak to someone if you have an account with them.
This MUST STOP - I shall take further action.

THEY ARE "CALL CENTERS" BASED IN INDIA...DID YOU NOTICED THEIR ENGLISH SPEAKING IS CURLEY TIGHT?

I recently went through a modification and since I sent the paperwork back to BoA, this number has been calling me and when I answer a recording comes on and says it is important then after a minute, they hang up. How do you all knwo it's BoA and not something else?

They have called our place of business a million times everyday! When I say my greeting they hang-up!Personally I just ignore them now!whoever it is is playing games and don't ever give any information over the phone and always ask them if they have a call back number and you could call them when you are not "busy". Most frauds don't give a call back number.

They have call me endlessly and I have no loan through b of a or country wide.  I called a local # for B of A and they don't know what to say, and told me my bank must have sold the loan to them. I said well I didn't think so and my payment isn't even due yet so i dout it is late. They wanted my person info. so they could contact my bank and check it out.  I told them I wouldn't give it to them and contacted my bank my self.  my bank that by the way took no bail out $'s, told me they have my loan it is in good standing and they aren't selling it.  I am not sure what kind of SCAM B of A is trying to pull, or maybe just complete incompetance, either way I would NEVER so buisness with them.  I believe they have hired a incopetent collection company as that # seems to have many diffent bank names.  I do plan on reporting the # to the FCC.

Have no idea what/who this is but they called my cell... I don't owe anyone anything. (yay).

They continue to call and even after asking multiple times to have my number removed they continue to call.  I have no idea who they are asking for and they keep asking me 50 questions.  Leave Me ALONE!!
