Report a phone call from 800-669-0102 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- NMI just purchased a pay as you go phone and have not given it to more than five people yet and I've got two calls from 800-669-0102 in the last two days and I'm a renter who has never had a mortgage in my life. I'm not going to waste even twenty cents a call on these morons, but I haven't even had a chance to view and set up all the features on my phone. Thank goodness I read the book finally. I've added this number to my reject list since it seems useless to call anyone by the posts I've read here. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions! We as tax paying citizens need to keep each other informed of people who harrass us on our cell phones as well as our landlines.
Peace!- Caller: Bank of America
- David HarrisonI have been getting calls from this phone number inferring that I owe on a mortage. I have owned my home for over three years. I do not have a mortgage or any other debt other than a few charge cards which I pay off every month. When I tell the callers I have no mortgage, they say, "Give us your social security number and we'll check." Since they refuse to indentify themselves other than giving a first name, I refuse to give them my social security number. I suspect what is going on here is social security freud and I have filed a complaint with Office of Inspector General. When I request that they send me a letter stating specifics of this make believe mortgage, they refuse. The calls come two or three times a day as harassment. Can someone give me the mailing address of this phone number. Appreciated advice.

- NM replies to KJI dialed *60 on my cell and got a recording stating the call could not be completed as dialed. Is this only for landline calls? They've called every hour for the last three hours and I put them on my reject list on my phone!!!! This is ridiculous.
- Laurie Pasion| 1 replySame as many peple, the BofA call appears on my cell phn missed calls list evry day. They don't leave a message & the caller ID is unidentifd, so I don't call back. Out of curiousity I answd a week or so ago. I was tld it was a crtesy call fr BofA and she askd for the last 4 digits of my SSN in ordr to idntify me. I said I won't gve tht on the phone and I have no confrmtion who they are or wht they're doing. I said if they're sellg mortg refi plans I don't want one. She said 'no it's a Personal Business Matter.' I askd what kind of busns and she again askd for my social. I refusd & told her to take me off their call list. She tld me to call bck at 800-641-5302. I didn't. The calls still contind daily. Tody I answd again & went thru exactly the same convrstn.. this time tellg her I'd alrdy said I wldn't give my social ovr the phne and to tke me off the list, again she gve me the callback # 800-641-5302. I haven't dialed it... has anyone? Searchg the web, it actully apprs to be a valid Countrywide office in Simi Valley, CA. I'll bet the calls continue even tho I've asked 2x to be taken off the call list. Annoying!

- Laurie Pasion replies to Laurie Pasionohhh!! re my earlier post.... I just went online to pay my currnt BofA mortg and 2nd mort accts and discovrd last month's online (Oct) small 2nd mortg pymt was never credited to my acct. Checkg my bank (a diff bank) register & statements I see it never cleared. I just now went online to BofA and scheduled pymts, Octbr's for the 2nd, and this month, Novmbr's, for the first. I was going to pay thm bth ths afternn anywy. They''ll only accept one schedld pymt at a tme for any individl acct, so I hve to wait til tomrrw to sched the currnt pymt on the 2nd mortg. I always pay online and usually don't print the 'payment confirmation page.' I will from now on! I believe I scheduled that Oct payment, and don't understnd why it wasn't processed. Maybe this is the reasn for the 'Personal Businss Matter' calls; perhps it's collectns and a valid call.
- picnicThis company calls all hours of the day and evening and when I pick up to answer they hang up!!
- RBI just opened a new cell service through Sprint and apparently the previos 'owner' of the # I was given had an account with Country Wide that is going in to default. From the first day I got the phone I was getting calls from this #. Every time I answered it was just a robocall with a message instructing me on how to call back and to have my account # available. After a week and a half of this, I received 5 calls just today from them. Every time I answered it was the same robocall bullcrap. I finally just put in 16 random #'s for an account # and answered a couple more question's to be put through to a rep.
The rep insisted that he get the last 4 digits of my SSN. After telling him 3 times that it would do him no good since I did not have an account open with them he gave up on trying to get it. He put me on hold for a couple of minutes and then returned to say that he will forward the information to his supervisor to see if he can remove it from the call list.
We'll see how that goes, it sucks that you can't just speak with a rep without entering random #'s.- Caller: Country Wide

- NMSince I put the number on "reject" on my phone, I've had hourly calls every afternoon between 1 and 5. Today, I've started receiving hourly calls in the morning. My phone rejects the calls, however they show up on my id as "missed calls". This is ridiculous. I registered the phone on both my state and the national do not call lists the day I bought it. I'm so disappointed with this whole thing.

- sandraI previously posted a phone number from a representative from this company who stated she would remove my number from their calling list. She had received my complaint from the FCC. To date (Nov 6, 2010), my number is still being called! I have VerizonFios phone service. The service includes a feature to block phone numbers. This has been the only thing to keep them from ringing the phone but I can look online and see that they've called the house at least 3 times a day. I will be sending another complaint to the FCC along with the phone number left on my voice mail by the Bank of America rep that called me last month.

- jsbeen calling for a week +/-...first 2 calls i told them the people they asked for was not here...they said they were bank of america...it was a lie...the are BAC Servicing LP in California...i asked them why they changed thier caller id...because it should read bank of america if that is who they are...it stumped them...they hung up...they continue to call several times a day...recording states"this is an important phone call, please hold on"...i wait for about a minute...and they hang up...i hit *57...get the legal foundation for a harassment suit...
if u call the 800#...they state bac servicing llp..."we are a debt collection agency"...and it tells you they will record your conversation...bac i would guess stands for bank of america collections...they are a subsidiary of bank of america...and a distinct corporation in fact separate from bank of america...much like the affiliation between any other collection agency and thier customers whom they collect for...so they are obligated to follow the laws relating to all collection agencies...and have no protections as BoA would had it sought collections on its own....
the fact that they are blocking thier caller id only beginning in the last few days now tells me they dont care about the laws...and thier intent is to go to any means necessary to accomplish thier goal, in spite of the same law...- Caller: toll free call
