Continually getting calls from Countrywide mortgage.  I have no mortgage or loan of any kind with these people.  Yet they continue to call me.  I returned the call at the 800 number left in the message, but must have an account number to get any further, or leave personal information...I am not about to do that.

We have a Countrywide loan, but the number they called on is not one they could quickly associate to me.  They called on my son's cell phone that I bought YESTERDAY.  He got a voice mail from a guy saying "Hello" over and over.  I looked up the number and found this site.

Countrywide has called us 3 different times within this week using different numbers since I keep blocking them off wtih my "call screen" service from my phone company.  It's real annoying.  This time they asked to speak with a "Nicole Kennedy"  who doesn't live here and we have a different last name as per our answering machine.  What is their problem?  we have an unlisted number and aer on the "Do not call list" yet somehow they got our number. We don't even have a mortgage with them but with another company and we are not late with our company.  No wonder they aren't doing well.  They don't know what they are doing.

I'm getting calls for someone that doesn't work for our company and have told them this is a business line numerous times.  They keep calling.  

Unfortunately, you can't get through to a person unless you enter some numbers as if they are the account number.  Just push some buttons...and it will send you to a live person.

Sucks for whoever they are trying to reach but it isn't my problem.

We just received a call from 800-669-0102 and they said we were late on our payment.  This was a little after 9 on a Saturday morning.  We were not late and our payment is in the grace period anyway.  We never received a call like this.  Just recently I received a letter that stated I was one of the lucky ones that had info stolen from Countrywide.  But according to them my husbands wasn't.  How is that when all their applications and notes and everything were compromised and he's on everything.  They then, on the phone asked for us to make payments over the phone.  Hah.  With this company...when the devil goes brrr. I'm not sure if it was just a phishing expedition by someone who stole the info that they were to keep safe. No wonder Countrywide is in trouble.  I wonder how much we don't know and by selling they are trying to get protection from their negligence.

I received a call on my cell phone from 800 669 0102 and
they claimed that my countrywide payment was late.  I didn't give
them any info and had my wife check the payment and everything
was fine.

Is this an attempted scam?  When I called the number back
it says you've called "the home retention team" and they
are a debt collector.  I did not talk to anybody else.

IVE HAD THESE CALLS FROM CALIORNIA,WYHOMING,TEXAS,FLORIDA,INDIA, TELLING ME MY PAYMENT WAS LATE,(WHAT PAYMENT) THEN ASKED ME TO MAKE A OVER THE PHONE PAYMENT, ITS SO MUCH EASIER.  OK........   AT ONE POINT I CALLED COUNTRY WIDE TO ASK THEM TO GET AHOLD OF THEIR CALL TOWER AND TAKE MY NUMBER OFF THE AUTOMATIC DIALER SYSTEM, THIS WAS IN MAY, SHE THEN EXPLAINED IT WAS A LITTLE HAYWIRE AT THE TIME, I WAS GETING NUMBEROUS CALLS EVERY 40 MINUTES FROM 6 AM TO MIDNIGHT, SINCE THEN I HAVE NOTICE ALOT OF BOGUS PHONE CALLS (same numbers but different offers to each number every several days) HAVE CAME IN OFFERING FREE SATELITE,MAGAZINE RENEWALS, MORTAGE PAYMENTS OFFERS. AND YES I BELIEVE ITS FRAUDULENT NUMBER,SOMETHING WENT WRONG SOME WHERE. AND IM ON DONOTCALL.GOV ... WHICH DOESNT WORK ANYMORE USED TO TIL BUDGET CUTS HAPPENED.

Keeps calling my daughters cell phone and when I try to call them back, it won't talk to me because I don't have an account number!!!

Another call from 800-669-0102 on my cell phone and when I looked this number up, I discovered it is for Country Wide.  I do not nor have ever had an account with this company adn the calls need to stop.  They are chickens because they won't leave a message and when you try to call the number back, it is some recording.  How annoying!!

I am receiving call from County Wide every other day but at 1-800-668-7639

I have started to receive these calls.
Tonight was my first one and I went to do not call.gov and filed for my number to be removed from all telemarketers call lists.
Then I called my cell phone company and they stated they have blocked the number from calling me.It seems the number might belong to scam artists.
Call and report the calls and ask for a block from the number calling you.
This should be done free of charge and don't be afraid to report them for calling you.
You only have money to gain from them disobeying the law and calling you.
Plus remember you must protect yourself from a potential threat to your family and yourself.
So remember to report them each and everytime they call you.
Do not fail to report every call it will help you in the future.

Same situation as all the above comments.  What are they hoping to get by these endless calls and with no way to return the calls because I have no loan number to give them.  They call twice a day from this number and from 800-604-8630.

We are a Greenpoint Mortgage customer... Countrywide bought Greenpoint last month, never sent notification where to send payment, no instructions how to set up on line payment and now this number calls me 6 times a day. When I say hello I get a recording asking me to hold one but nobody comes to the phone. Wyhen I call the number to try to speak with someone that can help me set up online payment and verify that they do have my mortgage and what the new account number is I cannot get a live person. What an F-ed up company !!

They are back at it again...  Now targeting my cell phone.  It is a bit of overkill if you ask me...  i come home and find my vm full from hang ups and calls id'ed to the referenced number...

Received the same calls, when called back they ask me if I'm interested in refinancing.

i thnk what everyone complaint abt countrywide is correct countrywide's collection center is in india too i worked there as Team leader bt cant help stopping this call

I tried to call the number back and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. Since I do not have an account with them I didn't have an account number to give the automated sytem so it hung up on me! I am also on the do not call list.

The phone number contacted my cell phone but I cant call because I am deaf. I want the phone number to stop contacting me or I report it to the police and FBI. I only text on my cell phone.

M mom recieves calls form them all the time for a hours I own!
