they call my place of work and said that my lawyer or i called them and the Agent Jeffiers wanted me to call her back.  now they are bothering me at work.

This number called me and asked for me or my lawyer to call this guy back, would not say why. They call 20 to 30 times a day. This is enough!

got call from MR. Sparks at my cell phone evening at 8;20pm, asking me if I had a lawyer representing me, that is very important to call him back regarding my account or either this will damage me for life, call him back next day, and ask me if I had a lawyer representing me or either he will have to submit this to my local attorney, in ref to my past due acct.

got the same call - and "agent flemming" maybe ... same deal about being my representing attny. if i didn't alreaady have one and that i needed to call by 3 today or she will make decisions that will affect me.

we are late on some bills so a collector is possible.  if i listened closely to the msg you could hear others in the background.

i think its wrong to state those 'facts' (attorney etc) even if accts aren't current.

my guess its an attempt to collect a debt. but no idea who...

Actually they can do that all of the message are covered ... and watch by the by there attorney's they are collecting a debt that is owed to them ...

First of all they can not threaten to do anything that they have no intention of doing!  Depending on the state you live in you should contact the Attorney General and always keep a recording of any threatening messages you receive.  Do not allow these people to keep getting away with these ridiculous collection practices.  Most bill collectors believe they can do what they want. It pays to do your home work about collection laws.

hey - just got the message and it freaked me out. searched it and clearly, it was a dumbass scam.

anywho - i work at a law firm. once i heard that it was an 800 number, that they didnt state the place of work where the "agent" is employed, and that i should have my attorney get in touch for this "matter" that could effect my life - i instantly knew that it was false.

they are also calling my work and told me boss for me or my lawyer to contact them immediatly!

They left a VM saying I or my attorney representing me needed to call them back immediatley or they were going to have to make a decision directly affecting me. Dude said his name was Agent Miller.

Agent Dyson Calls from 3032555190, left a message finally after calling this cell number for a year saying must talk to you or your attorney on an important matter. We have nothing in collections.
Gave 1-800-695-7444 x4660 Collection agency!  He did not state where he was calling from.

Made it sound like he was calling from a government agency.

They leave threatening messages on my cell phone, saying me or my attorney MUST call back ASAP.  They are collecting for World Financial Bank (Goody's).  I lost my job and can't pay right now...you can't buy groceries with a Goody's card.

800-695-7444, 614-729-4000, 614-755-3175 are all phone numbers for World Financial Network National Bank. I didn't get a phone call, but got correspondence from them saying they were changing the terms of my account with them. Called them (Agent Williams)and she said they represent a number of clients, but didn't say who. Told her I don't have any account with them.
Gave here the numbers of my address and she said "no that's not you", then asked for my SS #. I refused. She said just disregard the correspondence because it was evidently sent to the wrong person.

800-695-7444 is the number for World Financial Network National Bank (WFNNB). It seems that they are not being able to satisfy their customers. My sister worked with them and was not very happy since they could not stop collectors' calls. I've also seen angry customers offer their view not in favor of this company. WELL I HAVE BEEN GETTING THREATENING CALLS FROM AGENT CARTE. HE IS VERY RUDE AND BY LAW COLLECTORS CANNOT DISCUSS MY BUSINESS TO MY LANDLORD OR MY PARENTS THAT IS ILLEGAL!! I FILLED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I ASKED THIS FOOL 5 TIMES COULD I GET A LETTER IN WRITING WHAT I OWE. HE GOT VERY LOUD AND IGNORANT AND TOLD ME NO I COULDN'T GET ANYTHING. AND THAT I BETTER PAY HIM TODAY OR ELSE!! I WAS LIKE U CAN'T PUT ME IN JAIL.!!!  I TOLD HIM WAY CAN'T WE MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS? I TOLD HIM I COULD HAVE IT PAID OFF IN 6 WEEKS!! HE TOLD THAT WAS UNACCEPTABLE. I WAS LIKE WHATEVER. HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO CALL MY JOB AT AT&T I TOLD HIM CALL ME AND I GAVE HIM THE NUMBER TO CALL THEM. THE MORE HE VIOLATE, THE MORE I REPORT HIM.  IT'S ALL GOOD. these morons have been calling me for months.. I expalined I did not use the credit card please send me proof of what I supposidly charge to no avail.. I find the call amusing.. today the caller said they were Agent Clark..I couldn't stop laughing they hung up on me....lol
