Got a VM today about 10:42am on 4/25/14 stating that I or my attorney need to contact them no later than 3:00 pm. The agent name that he stated is Mr. Bathwell and he left this number 1-800-695-7444 ext: 1227622. So I goggle this number and it appears to be connect to this company WFNNB. I have heard of this company before. He kind of made a threat and said if I or my attorney did not call him before 3:00pm today that he would have to make a decision that would effect me in a harmful way. I believe that this is a scam. If it was a debt collector they should have said so and leave there company they work for. I don't take highly to threats MR. BATHWELL WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS. If it is a debt collector they need to send me a notice stating they are attempting to collect a debt for a amount and the date to collect it.

I just received that message as well. That Ms White must speak with me or my attorney TODAY.

I don't know the company and Ms White didn't identify which company she's with.

I received a message from an unknown caller. She stated that she was calling from the bank about a file she had received with a claim against my bank account and she needed a call back immediately. The first thing I did was check my bank and there was of course nothing. Then I looked up the 800 number that was left on my phone. World Financial Bank..what a surprise. I do not understand why people feel the need to use such tactics. The tone of this sent me into a panic thinking I had forgotten to pay a major bill.

I got a call today from this number & they said if I didn't call by 4 today it would seriously effect me and they thought I was ignoring their calls. They too needed my attorney info - I just want them to stop calling!

They called my work today!!!!

No company name. Told me to call or he would "make decisions that will directly affect you". Also didn't have my name, says my first name then paused for almost 15 seconds before he found and said my last name... Idiot

Ms. Stanley called me at work. Wants my attorney to contact them, "failure to respond to this matter will result in my office taking further actions that will directly affect you".

Not sure who this is or what they want.

Had a vacation weeks ago and lost my purse from theft.  All credit cards and personal information are there.  Pretty sure these people are connected with criminals since they have personal information to use against you and they will try to get more information.  Advise to ignore these calls or contact your local PD or FBI.  They are scam artists and DO NOT call them!!

Called requesting to speak to my daughter, who does not live with me. I informed the person who said her name is Nikki Jackson that my daughter was not here and asked if she would care to leave a message. She stated have your daughter to call me with the name of her attorney or else. This is extreme or else, what is she going to do cause her bodily harm?

A Ms. Sparks called me as well and all she said was "I'm calling from the bank..." no reference to what bank, company, etc. which to me sounds fraudulent and very suspicious so I'm not sure if this is real or not.

So I got a call from an 'Unknown' number and I dont answer unknown numbers because If i dont know who you are, I dont want to talk to you. They left a voicemail saying if i didnt call back by 10pm that they would take actions that would affect my life & i totally freaked out. They told me to call this 800 number and I'm like ...no thanks. So now I'm scared someone is gonna come for me.

Got a message on my home answering machine for my daughter from a Ms. Sinclair asking for the name of her attorney who would be representing her in this very important case.  She claims she has a "file" on my daughter and that if she does not return her call, this Ms. Sinclair will make a decision on the file that will affect her entire life.  Similar language to what I see posted here.  While my daughter does have some credit cards in arrears, the good thing is that next month I'll be able to pay them off and clear them out, so I'm going to take that route instead.  

Also want to mention that my daughter also received a call from our bank stating that her bank card had been compromised, with someone in Texas trying to use it multiple times (we live on the East Coast).  She used her card at Home Depot and the bank said that it had been compromised so they closed it down and will re-issue her another one.  Just wondering if this phone call is a scam by the same people who got and likely sold her card information.

Received a voice mail from 800-695-7444 extention 1227672.Said for me and my lawyer to call before further legal action wa taken. No name, no company, no info on what this matter was about in anyway and who just has a lawyer on stand by to take the time to call back someone who has given me no info but a number and a threat of further legal action if I ignore the call.

Received a call from 720-456-3690 and left this message: This is recovery specialist Ms Ross. Unfortunately your name has been placed in my office now so I am preparing to take the further actions against you At this time these actions will directly impact you. In order to prevent them I do need you or your legal represented attorney to contact my office immediately and no later than 6 pm my office number is 800-695-7444x1227619

What the heck is a 'legal represented attorney'? lol "actions will directly impact you" Um..what actions?

Woke up to a voicemail from a Mr. Michael, who told me that a matter involving me had come across his desk, and that I need to call him as soon as I hear his message. He then told me if I don't have an attorney, that he strongly suggests I call him immediately. No idea what this "matter" was, what he wanted, or who he was working for. Even more suspicious that his return number was a 1-800 number. Don't fall for this you guys!

I got the same call yesterday on my cell phone at 8:02, really?? 1-800-695-7444 x1227545.  First of all, how did they get my cell number if it was for a bill?? I don't list my cell number on my accounts. And it was the same story that Holly said, they basically threaten you by saying you need a lawyer. I'm pretty sure I would get a call on my landline if it was something that needed this urgent attention or I would have been notified by mail about it. Idiots. This is ridiculous that people can try to do this kind of stuff, they know the word "attorney" scares people. I kept it on my voicemail on my cellphone. Jerks.
