It's eBay offering their monthly promotion. It's not a scam. If you go to your eBay messages, the same deal will be there. Plus, they don't ask you for anything and say to go to eBay to take advantage of the offer. Be careful when you accept the deal because the Amazon drone is in your back yard!

It is legit from eBay. I'm a TRS and they like to me tips on selling. LOL

It was definitely ebay customer service.  I had inquired about helping my customer request an invoice for combined shipping with her shopping cart.  The customer service rep was just calling back to make sure that everything worked out okay.  I recognized her voice from talking to her last week.  So that is definitely a legitimate Ebay customer service number.

They called me also but I didn't pick up just saying I got called also

Received a call from this number today stated that were removing my ebay top rated seller status from my ebay account ...So i called ebay they said they had not called looked thru my records said no one called me and my top rated seller account status have not been changed.  Sounds like some type of scam...

I don't think it's a scam. I called Ebay customer service recently and this number called me back to see if the problem was resolved.

Yeah, i dont know what the hell this is but i got a call from this number about 20 minutes ago. It was similar to what another commenter on here had said - the man had an incredibly crackly voice that sounded almost like he was trying to disguise hiz voice, and i could barely understand. i asked repeatedly who they were and where they were calling from and they repeated several times and I still couldnt get it. so i told them they likely had the wrong number and they just repeated literally the same thing over  again so i  just hung up.

I do have an ebay account and if this really is ebay, then honestly they need to get better customer service reps because this guy creeped me the hell out... it was like talking to a horror movie villain... not a very nice way to wake up

Unfortunately you are very wrong and should pull your head out of your butt. This is an EBAY number but what they are calling about is regarding violation of ebay rules. ebay is a very crooked company that is afraid of being sued or regulated out of business. In order to kiss the California States Attorney's General ass, they keep changing the listing rules to give the illusion of complying with community standards. That is why sellers can't list anything having to do with WW2 German (NAZI) items but they are allowed to list Used/Sticky Sex Toys.

BEWARE: I have been getting phone calls from 801-545-1800. Caller ID just came up Utah with no name or anything. They said they were from ebay and they were calling to inform me my paypal account would be limited on Dec 10 and they needed to verify my personal info such as name, address, EIN/SSN... Since I knew all my info on my paypal was correct and I NEVER give info like that over the phone I decided to end the call without giving them any info and call ebay. Ebay said they had no record of any calls to me. She said if they did call it would not be about a paypal account. That would be for paypal to handle. The wonderfully helpful rep sent me the link below. It is scammers trying to get you to give them info. If I had talked to them longer they may have even asked for credit card and bank account info. She said that number is NOT EBAY or PAYPAL. If you get a call from this number don't answer and call ebay and let them know you're getting calls. If you call them back you can't get a person on the phone, it's just an automated message that hangs up on you.

There is absolutely no reason for these calls!! eBay have a secure method of contacting you, called EMAIL (including their own message/mail system).

If it is eBay, why the ferk are they doing this? They need to prove who they are ;)

The call i got was about a 'listing', I suggested they email me as there was no way I was going to give the CALLER my sensitive details etc, no email/message ever appeared.....................

eBay is ebay, paypal is paypal, why would ebay ring re: paypal issues ;)

just received a call from this number - showed up as a utah call. i get scam calls all the time so i just dont answer anymore if i dont know the number.

This is a legitimate number from EBay. I know because I had contacted Ebay on their website. They give you the option of you calling them or having Ebay call you. I chose to have them call me and this is the number that registered on my phone: 801-545-1800

Don't fall for it ! I reported the phone number and ebay confirmed that they are a scammer.

You CAN'T save additional money on your final value fees by opening a Fake Store with the Fake ebay callers.
That number is a scammer 100% guaranteed just call ebay and help shut them down.

Ebay will NEVER spam your phone the way they have done to my phone and others just to advertise.
