Avante  made the mistake of calling us again yesterday. We have filed a complaint with the Better Bus. Bureau in Houston and I urge anyone else having problems with them to do the same- whether or not you have a debt. We do not have any debt, but Avante has been extremely RUDE when we called them and asked them to stop calling. Unfortunately for Avante, they have really pissed me off (and I'm an attorney...) and I am not going to let it go this time. Their behavior is unacceptable. Also, if you in fact owe a debt, check the FTC website regarding your rights as a debtor, Avante may be held liable for any violation of federal law regarding their collection practices.

Got a call from 832-476-1739 did not answer. This was on my cell phone no-one knows my cell phone unless net 10 sold it. Big scam.

Someone called from this no1(832)476-1739,.wanting to speak to my son,.I told this person that my son is in the marines in bootcamp,.& he's not aloud to receive phone calls,.but kept on insisting to speak to him,.was very rude,.didn't want to tell me the mother,. what was the reason he was calling,.so I still don't know what's this no. about,.

I keep receive this number phone call in the past 2 months. No voice message. When I call back, nobody answer phone and machine says it is American Volurteer compay.

5 minutes agao, I receve another phone call. Lucky I came to check google this phone number.

These half wits continuously call my house and leave messages asking to be called back. Thing is,  We don't have any unpaid bills and have only had the phone number for about a month.   Not sure who they are looking for because they do not ask to speak to any particular person.  I suppose I could call them back, but it sounds like they're such jerks I'm not going to bother.  
The phone number they are calling doesn't ring into the house anyway.  It's just a data line.  So they can leave messages til the cows come home for all I care.

I got a call from this number and a guy named Anthony Bean left a message at my work with this number and an extension 325. When I called back and talked to him the started asking me a whole lot of personal information questions and before I would answer him I asked him who the Avanta USA was, he kept asking for personal information and would not give me any information on who the Avonta group and was very rude. I finally refused to give him any information since he could not tell me who the Avonta group was or answer my question who he as with. After about a 4 min go around we both refused to give any information and I informed him that we have nothing further to talk about and hung up.

Ok, so I have debt.  I'll be the first to admit it. I almost died and was hospitalized for a week.  In that week, I accrued over $40,000 of medical bills with absolutely no insurnace. This was almost 5 years ago. I lost my job because of my illness. As a single mom with two kids and no child support, no job, and medical problems, needless to say, I fell behind in all my bills.  The medical bills were the least of my problems.  By the time I was able to work again, everything had been sent to collection agencies.  This particular collection agency is the worst I have ever dealt with.  They have threatened to call my neighbors and tell them everything about my debts, threatened to sue me, screamed and yelled at me, called me a b****, etc. I've asked for the original bills to try to verify that it's not the same bills other collection agencies are trying to collect on.  They are all saying it is for the same company.  They refuse to mail me anything.  Now, I just hang up the phone.  If I know it's them calling, I don't answer. It's not that I don't want to pay my bills.  I can't pay them.  If I was to pay $5 a month on each bill I owe, I'd still be paying out over $400 a month. They are last on my list to ever pay. They have harrassed me at work after I have asked them repeatedly not to call me at work.  The most unprofessional and hateful collection agency I have dealt with to date.

These people are [***]! They called me 2note looking for my mother in law. I told them she does not live with me and never has. They asked for her new # and i told them i am not giving out her # to people i dont know. The guys name was Jeff Ford and he was very rude. They knew my address and phone # and said she gave them this contact info as the place to contact her. There is not way she gave them my info. They knew which of her sons I was married to! How the hell do they know that much info. I told them i didnt care what they said i knew there was no way they got my info from her!! if they call again i am going to file harrasment charges----they cant keep calling me when they arent even looking for me! if it keeps up they will get a nice law suit filed against them.

Called a few minutes ago (2:44 CST); a collection company looking for my son. They keep calling. I take their message and the person leaving the message was Tracy Adams. Not rude YET.

I don't have voicemail so "in your face, Avante!" Anyway, you can't be upset with the one making the call because that's their joj. They're just being pressured to call people. There's something called a class action suite but being I'm not a lawyer and have no legal experience, that's just my opinion. Also, I'm not sure but this might fall under the do not call https://www.donotcall.gov/

A woman from Avante USA left a message saying it is a collection agency and I need to call back immediatly.  I just bought a house so I know my record is clean.

All they leave is a call back number saying it is to collect a debt.   I don't have any debt.  I deal in cash or debt card. I am really tired of receiving calls that are not for me.

I did not receive a phone call from these people, but I did receive a letter. They are stating that I owe their company about $100. They claim this was a previous debt from Bally's Total Fitness. However, this debt was paid over a year ago. I am in the process of buying a house so I know all of my outstanding debts have been settled and are cleared on my report. Check and make sure they are not phishing for money from old debts.

So as I see on here this is a scam!!! I have just received a phone call!! I WANT TO REPORT THESE PEOPLE AND I WILL!!!

They called looking for my oldest son. I called them back to inform them he was not at my number. They yelled and screamed at me when I refused to give any info on my son. I told them not to call my number again and was told "We'll call your number anytime we want and we don't give a s*** about you." Marcus any further calls and they will be recorded as it says in the opening statement on my answering machine.

Somehow they got my cell number, Recorded call..very rude..I will not call them back as I owe NO ONE any MONEY..period..just a load of crap and xxxx

THey called me. I don't even understood them. They left a voicemail. I've got calls like this before, so I checked over the web before calling back.
