I called and they were very nice.  We had a medical bill that was past due and then i paid it and it was off their records......it must be a terrible job to call people who are behind on their stuff.

Rude person on phone. Told me I owe money to gibbs. So I ask them to send documents cause I don't know u. She refused and got nasty

i agree i got a call from someone from avante who did not i themselves and strarted talking about how i owe a school. my cell disconnected as i was going in the elevator and i then got a voice mail message from the same un id person saying that i was stupid for hanging up and im playing games and my future will be ruined because im playing games. I called the number back to complain to a supervisor and he said i need to pay and is rep didnt say those things becuause he was right there. i then said i saved the voice mail and will be contacting my attorney.

some one call me from this number and ask me for bank card number to settle a hospital bill from 1999 I told him to send me a e-mail to my box and he did'not do it...way should I even give out my bank ### if I don't know who are!! send me something in mail and I will pay it!! if is really me.

Just got ANOTHER call from them.  Caller ID says Avante USA but the number is 8324761740 so that's apparently one of their other lines.  There is never anyone on the other end, just a recording saying it's HIGHLY important I call them back but if it was that important they'd have a live person on the line I would think.  I just read a news article that says there is a statute of limitations on collecting a debt which for Texas I believe is 7 years UNLESS you try to make arrangements to make payments then the 7 years starts over.  The article stated never to discuss the debt with a debt collector because even discussing it admits the debt and again the 7 years starts over.  I haven't tried to call them back because I'm not wasting my time and raising my blood pressure, if they want to talk to me they need to try calling without using that stupid recording.

These "people" keep calling for my son.  He has contacted them and told them he has already pait the bill in full.  They demanded proof.  He faxed copies of his canceled checks on numerous occasions.  They keep calling and telling him that's not the right fax number.  That's the one they gave him!!!!  Guess they don't even know their own phone numbers, but they sure know other folks.

LOL i just got the same call from a guy and he said I owe 700$ from 2000. I told him to go ---- himself.Im a Soldier and he said he would call my Commander.. Laughable this prick must not know what I do for a living. I want to kick his ass. He was rude and threatend my family

A lady called 2 nights ago and asked for my husband.  She wouldn't give me her name or number and kept insisting that he call her or she would could call until she reached him.  My response..Good Luck with that!  Thought it was a one time thing.  Now a guy just called my cell and asked for him.  I told him it wasn't his numer and he said it was listed as his work number....that's crap.  I decided to Google it only to see im not alone.  What's next??

This scam company will not identify who they are, what it is they want, or a real account that I owe.
I pulled a credit report and there not listed on there. They call my daughters cell phone 8 times in 2 months. And do not say what anything is about.

I would like to know how to get this to stop!

Avanti USA has been calling me for about 3 months now. They are calling me on 2 phones that are on the 5 year Do Not Call List. They insist that I owe them over $1800. I have never heard of this company or have dealt with this company before. They refuse to tell me how they got my numbers for the simple fact that the numbers are not listed anywhere. I receive a letter in the mail from the Huston, TX zip code. There was no return address. In the letter, it was talking about the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (public Law 106-102) which states that all lenders and collection agencies must tell you where they got personal information. Avanti USA refuses to give me this information. They keep telling me that I owe them the money for a school I went to. I have already talked to the school about this and they keep saying that my account is at a $0 balance. I am getting tired of Avanti USA calling me on a debt that has been paid. I am going to check me credit reports now and if they are listing anything they are going to be in a world of hurt.

I am starting to feel that a class action lawsuit need to be started against this company. I am not an attorney so I do not know if this would qualify for one or how to get one started.

Got a call from this company saying that I owed $3000, but wouldnt' give me any other information. I asked for the womans name and # so I could call her back but she started yelling at me. I hung up the phone and called the 3 that was on my caller ID and found out that it was a collection agency called Avante. Still trying to figure out what and why I supposedly owe money for.

Thanks for the link. I just filed a complaint against them. They have been calling my cell phone wasting mins. for days now. Keep telling them they have the wrong number.

Avante calls looking for someone I never heard of.   Avante, even being informed of that fact, keeps calling back again and again.

I do not owe anyone anything and I do not know why this person is calling me.

Too funny! They have called my number looking for another person, keep leaving message"George from Avant" This George is busy! Will not stop calling, even though I have told them that the person they are asking for does not have or will have this number!

This company call me stating I have a debt with USA bank, I totally thought it was legit. Because I do have a outstanding balance with USA bank. After doing my research seeing who handle my debt with USA bank, turns out this company is a BIG SCAM and they are not handling my debt. I had to change my bank account information, because I release my infomation to this company before they can take money out. This is such a upset, please do research for any company call you about a debt.

People who don't like you put your number on lists to endlessly annoy you with misc. prank calls. There is no point to pay an operator to simply annoy people without any objective or benefit but to harass the person that picks up.
