They call me everyday & they refuse to answer. All they do i s hang up. I will not answer this number anymore.

No one talks when I answer. Calls repeatedly, never leaves a message when I can't answer.  Is this the same as "Card Services" or "Household Bank"?

They called one of our business phone and it was a recording from "Citibank" and they gave a callback number of 1 800 388 2200 but the caller id showed 859 283 8071.

I have gotten many calls from this number. Always a hang-up or just a hello when I answer.   Called the number back and got Citi bank.  Did extensive checking. This is a scam using an auto dialer and the citibank # as an ID.  If the callers do talk to you they will be trying to get any information from you they can use.   Dont give them any thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    FYI I do not and have never had a Citibank credit card.

I get calls from this number-Citibank, and I don't even have an account or a card with them. I called the number back and a lady answered. She asked for my social security number but I didn't give it to her but  said she needed it to see if maybe someone opened an account with my social to confirm possible fraud. I guess that would make sense, however I can check my credit report for that.

Tons and tons of calls. Most DEFINITELY A SCAM! I have never ever banked with Citibank. I don't care if it was my real bank though, I would say thanks for the notice and hang up. Then I would call a local branch directly, or their website directly (no email links).
People, please protect yourselves and be smart. People that commit fraud feel entitled if their victim is "dumb enough to fall for it".

Calls a couple times a day  .....  no one speaks .... VERY annoying!

they called me 3 times a day or more-never give up-leave msgs. iam poor and live on fixed income and disabled.it must stop-its now harassment.
one cannot get money from a poor,person.many others try as well. i can give $5 or $10 a month-thats it. the calls need to stop.

Posters who say this number is really Citibank are part of the scam.  This actually a call bank company based in the Phillipines trying to solicit your credit card number & social security #.  DO NOT give out your info. Call Citibank & the Do Not Call Registry to report these criminals.

It is Citi Bank.  They are on my answering machine up to six times a day.  They leave a number to call.  Called it, and was on the line 10 minutes waiting for them to look up the reason that they were calling me.  Couldn't tell me.  The only Citi Bank card I have (Sears) has NEVER been used.  And the calls keep coming.

That's a lie, it's not Citibank.  We do not do business in any way with Citibank and that number has called us every day for two weeks.  

We registered ourselves on the 'Do Not Call List' this morning and have reported the number as a scam.

Get a job, scammers.  You'll sleep better at night when you feel better about yourselves.

Call from 859 283 8071 twice today. May the cell phone co can block the number

This # has been colling my house over 8 times for the pass 4 days. I called Citi and they told me that they were not making those calls. my account was in perfect condition and my payment history was remarkable. I called the phone number that has been calling my house and they said that was from Citi Cards. They want me to give them my secret code. I refuse to give any information until they will tell me what do they want. They did not volunteer any information. They keep on asking me for my account number.
I did not provided any information and they told me that they couldn't updated my account. I told them that I have told to Citi, which is a different number and I had check my status. Ten minutes later,  they called again, and the did not talk and after a minute they hang up.  What is this?

This telephone number has been calling me twice or more a day for the past two weeks.  I do not know who they are, they hang up when I answer.  They keep calling.  I know it's from Florence, Kentucky, but that's all I know about the number.  They are the most annoying people!

have gotten a couple of calls from this number, but fortunately my mother didn't answer the phone!

Caller ID: Florence, Ky 859-283-8071   ....I picked up, said hello a couple times, no response from the caller.

Whoever this group is they call at least two times a day always leaving a 33 second voicemail. They don't' identify who they are in the message but tell me to call them at this  number anytime 7 days a week 1-800-388-2202.
What really angers me is that I'm  on the "Do Not Call" list.

I started getting calls from this number and i dont own credit cards from no companys except from mybank.

Are you  sure its a scam, if so, how are they aware if a person is over their limet then. I called citi bank today and I gave them the Number they called from 1-859-283-8071. The Bank informed me to ignore the call and that it was in no way connected to this number, and was not any of their numbers.

I am confused by who to belief, weather it is a Citi banks actual number. for now I have to go with what the Bank said.
