When they contact a real Attorney and try to scam them this is what happens.

This is what I keep telling these idiots from Stephens and Michaels Associates, Inc.:

"I have been the victim of identity theft while residing and working in the Middle East during the years and time periods in question, evidenced by the numerous "Fraud Alerts" placed on all three major credit bureau reports during those time periods...We have addressed these same accounts and claims on numerous occasions and with numerous different collection entities. We have informed each company, each time, of the error. After receiving this information, these companies have apparently found it more profitable to sell my information to another collection group or company, rather than accepting the loss. You or your clients have been sold and/or have purchased this account erroneously. Please remove this erroneous record from your system, and cease collection efforts. Do not sell this erroneous information or record to any other debt collection firms."

They don't care. They just keep calling and harassing, even calling our FAX line now.

They call me everyday which gets annoying. They say they have important information , but that's a lie.

They just called me ask for boyfriend  they acted weired!

I have lung cancer,a cerebral aneurysm and several health issues .these people called me a liar i had my doctor write a note and they won't give me an address...Very,Very rude woman and man they have called 7 days in a row .i am having my phone taken out the aggravation and traumatizing rudeness if these people put me at the doctors office twice .i have contacted attorney general's office. they said to warn them of harassment lawsuit on a terminal cancer patient..they are dirty people....

They call me and then hang up. -_- tha [***]?

They called here today - said they were looking for my sister-in-law - I told them she doesn't live here (her and my brother separated) and that my mother just passed away yesterday - she honestly did - and the [***] on the other end of the line actually SLAMMED the phone down on the receiver - I intend to contact the Ohio AG's office after all the funeral and stuff are done - this is totally unacceptable behavior.

This agency has been connected to the disappearance and murder of a 39 year old woman from Kentucky. Please use extreme caution with these people. They first make contact to mine data and then create false identifications. The victim's assets are then stolen.

In case you didn't read the rest of the comments here smart ass...most of the calls are erroneous and there is no legitimate debt.

Unknown Caller, I searched and came up with this report

They threaten to take my life and burn my children up disturbing to say the least sick people over a 300 Bill from years ago a phone Bill and the phone company it was thru has since closed down so there not wanting money these fake people are after they say there attorneys no real attorney going threaten take someone life and children's.

Calling my cell phone and telling me my name and address that they are aware of my name and address.  Is this  a threat or a scare tactic

They called me this morning and wanted to verify my name, I would not give it to them and she hung up, please stand in line for what I owe a debtor. I have no job so good luck trying to collect money from 10 years ago.
