This is not a solicator it is a collector and even though your name is on the do not call list doesnt mean that the collection agencies won't call you.

This is a collection agency. What's funny is the fact that I had pulled my credit report way after I started getting calls from this number and this agency is no where on it. It is an automated messege and it does say my name but I am not calling them back. I have dealt with collection agencies before and have told them my situation and they act like I am making it up. Even my collections people for my student loans gave me problems until their mod looked at my employment status and the amount of income I get and they backed down.

hahahahaha you are so incredibly stupid, why would you not owe a debt just because a certain amount of years go by? when the statue of limitations is up, it doesnt mean you dont owe the debt anymore it just means you cant be pursued in court for it, your always going to owe the debt even if 100 years go by, tell your husband to stop being a deadbeat, help the economy and pay his bill.
oh and by the way, they still get paid for "wasting their time and efforts"

Anyone else notice that these scumwads seem to call more at the beginning of the month and then again at the end. They are using automatic dialers and recordings and I figure if they were serious they would use real people not a tape recording . 3/4 's of the time they do not even ask for a specific person. NCO called twice this morning within 3 minutes. I am guessing they are paid a commision or bonus on each account that they collect.  I suppose they bank on the fact that most people may not know their rights and they play on a person's fears.

This company has called me twice a day for several weeks now. I have not returned their calls nor will I. If they can't leave a purpose for their calls, I don't have any interest or time to call them back. As this is apparently a collection agency, they have nothing on me as I don't have any outstanding debt.

Since this dubious company isn't likely to stop calling, even after presented with evidence their records are incorrect, there is another way (available from most phone service providers) to deal with harassing callers like this one. "Call Rejection" is what Qwest calls it, it's free, and it works great. The information on how to use it is usually found in the front pages of your local phone directory.

So even if they won't listen to reason, you won't have to listen to the phone ring when they try to call. The call will never go through, unless they get a different number.  ...Which you can always add to the reject list.

This is the fourth call this month.  If it was as important as they say it is, then they need to send me information in the mail.  Also, I don't owe anybody anything.

Called our office requesting to speak to an employee.  Told them we had another member in our service dept. that could assist him with a new project and then let him know if it's a personal matter he would need to contact the employee at his personal residence.  He asked if I could take a message and I let him know unless it's a family emergency we don't take personal messages for employees.  He laughed sarcastically and said "Thanks for the Help" & I replied " Your Welcome" and he hung up.

Left message to call back. I do not ow them anything.

I think I made a mistake about working with these guys.  I talked to the people who I was supposed to owe money to and they were good enough to provide information....I owed $100.  S and M said $200...the hospital I owed to were kind enough to call them and set them straight about that so I agreed to do the right thing.  I agreed with "Stacy" and even agreed to the $10 added...and paid the $110.00.  

Sent them a letter of final payment .  

I suspected that would not be enough.  So they after more even tho any of their letters said to just give $100 to make it all right...so they got even more then that and still...they are after more.  

There's no making them happy.  I have to blame myself for not insisting on more such as a letter agreeing to my payments.

Now I have to just ignore them like I said I would in that final letter.  Voice mail already coming in. The voice introduced himself as their attorney.  Yeah...right!   They lie about that so called such and such amount to call it square.  That seems not to be the case.

Should anyone who reads this agrees to payments of any kind to those people to make things square, get it in writing or do nothing!!  They will not honor their word.

These people, whoever they are, are harrassing people for the fun of it.  They think if they can get the person upset with them, well then they can take over and do things to people that shouldn't be done. AND it is not legal, the problem is if you can't IDENTIFY them individually then you can't go after them.
A bogus company is just that, a bogus company.  Unfortunately I have had several calls, and they have an old debt of mine that I paid, except THEY won't accept that, they just keep calling.  I will just keep ignoring them.   Christina B. that especially means YOU.

I also received a call from this collection agency or law firm, today, on July 7, 2010.
I have also received phone calls from three other scam collection agencies in these
past two months.    All were supposedly looking for different people.
Since this is highly unlikely, I know this is a harassment problem,
also given the fact that I have no past due debt.

My particular problem is different from that of the other people who posted comments, here.
My family is a crime family, associated with the Church of Scientology.  They have been
harassing me like this continuously, for five years.

This "agency", Stevens & Michaels Associates, is owned or associated with
people in the Derish-Silver crime family.  This situation includes a detective agency
known as Derish Associates.  The two principals of Derish Associates are Seth D. Derish
and Seth Derish, Jr.   Both are currently incarcerated in California on murder charges.  

The concensus of information posted, is that there is no website or URL address for
this scam operation.  There is an address, 63 Range Road, Windham NH 03087.

Their phone numbers are, (603) 537-1740 and (866) 201-0940.   I received a call
from (866) 201-0940.    When I returned their call, I was told I was not the person they
were looking for, and they would remove me from their list.  However, when I inquired
further, they abruptly hung up while I was talking.

Do not send these people any money, unless you know for sure you owe the debt
in question, and without first contacting both your original creditor and someone
qualified to advise you.   A scam collection agency does not often legally own
the debt in question, nor are they authorized to collect such debt.
