It is "Breast Cancer Society" in Canada and "Breast Cancer Foundation" in the US.
Regardless,it is my belief these are scammers posing as one of these charitible entities. I suggest if they call, and you really want to make a donation, hang up and find the number for the real charity and donate.

Call with no message. Tried to call back and get a pre-recorded message. Research led to www.realbreastcancer.org that is a website with no actual information about breast cancer or the organization but instead references you to other sites. My assumption is that this is a fraud. BEWARE!!!

This number just appeared on my caller id just a few minutes ago.  A message was not left.  I have already reported two numbers already to the Do Not Call Registry and they have not called since.  I am reporting this one too.

Continue to receive haressing calls from this number and when I ask them to stop calling me, they continue to solicit.

I'm sick and tired of getting calls from this number on a daily basis.
This needs to stop !!!

I get a call from this # at least every other day.  Noone is on the other end when I answer!  Pain in the ass!

I think this Breast Cancer Relief Fund is a SCAM, I checked out the web site they listed on the Sponser confirmation and guess what?   No web site . I felt very suspisious about the whole thing and never sent the money.

I won't answer calls at night that I do not recognize, because they tend to be telemarketers.  This was at 8 PM at night - very annoying because I am on the do not call list.  No message - but I noticed from the other reports that it is a solicitation for money for breast cancer research.  I actually gave money to an organization once that then hounded me every couple of months for ages - and then finally came to my house to try and pressure me for more!  I will not make that mistake again........

I've received calls from this number several times as well (last one about 10 minutes ago). I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. They never leave a message. I am also on the DNC call. These calls are very annoying.

Thanks for the headsup on who this one is.  I get this one two or three times a week.  Never answer it.

Get calls all the time -- I'm on both state and national DNC list.

American Cancer Society asking for donations for women without means for screening, drugs, etc.  No caller ID name, which is strange if this is legit.  I could hear people talking and children crying in the background. I just told her I was not in the market for her product at the present time and hung up.

Caller says they are from "AC Services".  I think it is a classic scam.  They say they are raising money for cancer "services".  Note the classic scam technique of using initials to copy legit services... ACS as in American Cancer Society which of course is a great organization.  I also checked the National Cancer Instute and they have no listing for AC Services.  Don't Give anything to these folks unless you know more than I do.  My guess is most of the money goes to the fundraiser.  Just because they say they are listed with the State AG means nothing...  Any fundraiser can get listed there..

I get these calls eight times a day (so far), but then I had foolishly agreed to receive a mailing, which the caller had switched to calling an "invoice" at the end of the call.  I called her out on that but have gotten mailings anyway.

On their "invoice" it says that the "solicitor" is "Associated Community Services," (ACS) and that they file financial reports with my state's Office of Consumer Affairs, with the phone number for that office.

According to the local phone book, that's not the number of "office of Consumer Protection."

I've read at another site that the percentage that actually goes to cancer victims is only 20%.

I get 'em too. Every single day.


I can't tell them to remove me from the calling list- it doesn't matter how quickly I answer the phone, there's no one there...EVER.

I'm filing a complaint if this doesn't end.
