Remember karma is a wonderful and cruel thing. Or think of the Golden Rule. What goes around, comes around. So, to every evil, cruel, collector out there that thinks they are doing a "great job" getting "losers" to pay their bills. It will all come back to you one day. Think about what you say and how you say it,because everything cruel, hurtful, and mean that comes out of your mouth to another human being will be done and said back to you 10 fold when your life is in shambles. Just remember that. There will be a day when you would love for someone on the other end of the line that you owe money to, to believe what you say as true, but they will be treating you as you treated people in the past. You will not escape fate. Not all people that took loans with Chcksmart are "losers". They are humans and life happens.

dude how about this, im 16 dont have a job dont owe anything and they keep calling me constantly. Its a scam, how about you get a real job and not harass us even more

I took out a loan of 300 and my hours where cut bc of our lack of business so now im not making that much. also i told them before the check would go through that i wouldnt be able to pay until i recived my income tax. they asked me when the date would be and i told them that in about 3 weekss. reminder this is actually the store talking to me. the lady was so rude and hung up on me bc i couldnt give an exact date. then they called me at work, which we are not allowed personal phone calls but i answer phones i told her id need to call her back once i was off she replyed no you cant you need to talk to me now. i told her i would not disuss it and i was just got off the phone with her from my cell. she said she needd the date. i told her that same thing again about 3 weeks. then she asked me when i filed my taxes and said it wouldnt take that long. then yelled at me saying i needed to come in & pay on the 19th! at that point she just hung up! the 19 is next friday not 3 weeks from now what i dont understand is that i am going to pay them back its not like i dont want too but they dont understand money does not grow on trees and ill pay it when i can. i just couldnt believe the way she proceeded to treat me. haha she also tried to talk to my works hr department so she could make them make me talk to her about it! like really?,

My mother, who resides with us received a phone call from 1-866-354-0567. The caller said he was from "Foodmart" and that he needed to talk to ME about a job for either my husband or son (they have the same first name). Said his name was "Tom".  Why the hell would they call me about a job for someone else.  I checked online to find the number and see a lot of other people are having problems with these people.  If it is in Checksmart, then I don't know why they are calling us, we've never borrowed money from these people, and never would!  I've heard too many bad things about Checksmart and all the others like them.

This place is a joke. I use to work there. Don't worry about their empty threats, they wont do anything to you (unless of course you cashed a fraudulent check then you better run the other way) however, if you took out a payday loan, don't sweat it. They wont do anything to you...they make threats of pursuing the contract...LAME..it's a scare tatic. They dont even report it to your credit until it has been 6 months...the most they will do it sell it to a third party collection agency then you just have to deal with them. Laugh and hang up on them they suck!

No it wasn't the owner's wife, it was Andrea Vishak. She uses that "fistful of hundreds" line on like every other call she takes. She's a bi-polar skank [***] and everyone that works for BTL, Checksmart, Southwest, Cash 1, etc... knows it. She's the director of title loans, but everyone treats her like the joke that she is. Even the other managers and upper management scoff and look down on her. She has zero integrity and is one of the worst human beings I have ever had the displeasure of working with.

I requested twice that they remove my number but give a bunch of BS stating they dont have to abide by the DO NOT CALL LIST which again is BS.

Yes,  I heard that these places have called some supervisors and told that the employee has an outstanding loan. If this happens to you, you are able to file suit against the compay.  The fair credit reporting act prohibits creditor from telling what thier call is regarding.

You're funny, and obviously a bill collector. I pray you never fall ill and have to have three consecutive surgeries and have to deal with scum like yourself on a daily basis.  I have found that most bill collectors are retched people who enjoy making others as miserable as they are.   Do the world a favor and get an education and a real job that does not involve harassment of good people who have real life issues happen.

I agree. Those clowns at checksmart corporate office are [***]. Very snotty and unprofessional. There was a guy named Dan that I spoke to today and he just kept berating me and degrading me becase I'm having a hard time paying the balance I owe. Once I pay those [***] off, I will NEVER do any business with them again. They can all just go to hell. They won't work with anybody. They just think every time someone takes a crap, money comes out their [***] (sorry if I sound gross).

They keep calling me and I never took a loan out with there guys...Even when I told them they still call me...And for the car note mines is paid every month so I don't understand.Then they called and said I bounced a check..I dont own any checks..so I really dont understand

they keep calling and being very rude and saying nasty things to me. I am a mother of to kids and i tried to work out a payment plan with them they told me now and said i would be takeing a long ride in a cop car... what can they really do??? I want them to stop calling me and hanging up on me.

Actually I think your wrong, or least half wrong. I continue to receive these calls at my business. I read an earlier email from a business stating they were looking for someone. I can assure you I don't need to borrow money from loan sharks.. I definitely am not responsible for any of my employee's actions outside of the work place either. If they keep calling with their automated service I'll have to take legal action... That's ridiculous.. But I will find out who they are calling for and let them know never to use the company name, address or phone number again..

DUE TO THE RUDE CALLS, I AM LOOKING INTO A CLASS ACTION SUIT.....
