I paid mine and they still called. I had them call for weeks even after the balance was paid and they were rude the same way. I have a job and paid my bills. What's the reasoning you want to give for that?

received a call from the 866-354-0567 #. claiming to be corporate. Well I read some of the messages on this site and I don't own any check cashing places or anyone else other than a car note. I think this is bogus!

If this is legitimate as checksmart not sure why they've been calling me the past two weeks. I've never dealt with them before.

I keep getting calls from all sorts of different numbers but they always leave the same short automated message and even called this past Sunday. If this was legit as checksmart these places they're closed on Sunday's and would NOT call on that day. So this proves it's a scam.

They said that when I went to easy money and cashed a check the check came back insufficient but I've always been cashing my checks there. I've been getting calls saying I needed to pay then I got calls from corporate and I checked into it where I got the check from and they sent me information to back up that it was cleared. I cashed it on the 18 of July and on my documents that my accounting team who I work for sent me saying it was paid on the 20th of July. Then I called today and the same thing basically saying I need to pay or they would turn me in to the proper authorities. I heard he said the check was cleared and then he said duplicate which is impossible because there is only one payment. Then he said just pay the 180.00 with a debit card and I ask to details about the check but he wanted the money upfront then he will.send me details about the check.  I don't know if they are someone posing for them and got me in some mess. I need this be stop and be resolved.

Did you receive WRITTEN documentation of the problem that was MAILED to you giving full details????  If not - very probably a scam - especially since he wanted immediate payment!!!

I went to Easy Money in Birmingham Al and I cashed a check written to me by a friend of mine, it bounced and they started calling me leaving rude messages. When i called back and talked to Dan and tried giving him the friends number so he could clear it up Dan gets irate and starts talking improperly for a buisiness call. I was merely trying to tell him the best time to contact him or if necessary paying it right then myself but once i was spoken to like that i told him where he could go and what he could do once he got there and blocked the number. I'm half tempted to go to their office on Oxmoor Circle and see what Dan has to say face to face. He's a regular telephone tough guy.

Had a call wanting to speak a friend. Company name was Easy Money. Said to call 'corporate office's and speak to Elijah.
