Ok...I called the local California Check Cashing branch where my loan originated and they told me that I am paid current and there are zero issues.  So, why does this Checksmart keep calling me???  They have called my cell and are now, starting to call my office line.  California Check Cashing is licensed with the California State Department of Corporations and I am going to file a complaint unless they cease and desist from using these incompetent people at Checksmart.  Also, I am paying this balance off at CA Check Cashing and would advise anyone to NOT ever take a loan out from them.  It is not worth the hassle and harassment using these incompetent storefronts.  They should be banned from every state.

Calls my cell phone a few times a week. I have no clue how they got my cell number but it's so annoying. I don't owe a single person money and if i do ... like school loans and other bills .. they are paid of on time every month. I feel like this should be considered harassment.

This is the corporate office of CheckSmart.  I called the number and extention and told them they have the wrong number.  I was told they would remove my number from the list.  

Andrea Vishak - runs the collections department @ 20 S. Dobson Road, Mesa, Arizona 85202. Dobson and Broadway - S.W. corner.

They work in the back of a functional Checksmart location. The parking for all of the collections and front end employees is in the back. Andrea drives the Lincoln Navigator that is usually parked first in the line, right next to the dumpster. There are cameras watching and recording all activities there, that's why she parks there. It's the most visible spot for the camera's.

often times... the collection department comes out for a cigarette. very often. if you see pretty much anyone smoking alongside of this checksmart, then you can bet it is the collections department. No one in the check cashing part of checksmart smokes. and if they hired someone who did since I've been there... they would surely smoke with the collections department.

They hang out outside in large groups alongside the building to smoke. acting like thugs. obnoxiously laughing at people and cars as they pass by. they are scared all the time. they wear panic buttons on lanyards in case of a confrontation with anyone. they are not allowed to work for the day without them.

Jeff drives a lifted, ford F-150 4 door shortbed truck with huge tires on it.

Does anyone know the legal process of the repo? I have a loan with cash buckeyed title and i have been repeatedly in and out of the hospital i let them know everything well i had a repo guy come to my door but i have not been home i stayed in hospital 3times for 2week intervals.  His name is Matt. He has repeatedly came knocked on y door (according) to my family. And neibors at 12am in the morning, my neibor is a sherriff and he made the repo guy get off his property. He didnt tell. Him who he was he just aked wierd questions about me and. Car. My neibor told my fiance about it as soon as he got home. he has threatend to repo my roomates vehicle in place of mine, he wears a fake badge and argues, yells and threatens my family. He is the main reason i was heasitant to call the corp office but i did and we set up a deal well when i wet to the store i was told to have them call the corp to verify tje arrangmets. So i did the lady a the front was very rude and said she didnt belive the corp would arrange tht certin arrangement. So i  told her they want you to verify with them so she calls,well she comes bk and says sorry they dont have any arrangmet set up with you.i was furious and told her that was utrue i was on  the phone with them for an hour and updated everything possible. I asked if they could just take the payment because it was all the money i had and i didnt want to spend it so i could make and follow thru with  the arrangement made on the phone, She refused to take it and said she couldn t help me....i left and called corp and asked. What the hell was going on and found out who i talked to. I verfied my arrangmet and nade them call the iffice, i never heard ack till i get another knock at my door i refuse to let them slack on their half and i lose my car cuz of it!!

yes. but are you willing to mail proof of the debt to their home address.  that is the problem I am running into.  I have paid off my payday loan. Every 2 or 3 months I will have someone new try to collect on that same debt. I have even had 2 companies trying to collect at the same time. Because of this.......  I have spoke to an attorney..........  If the company is not willing to mail proof of the debt to my home and allow me 30 days to dispute that debt, then they are scamming...........................

Call and don't say anything leave no thing on voice mail.

Called back and live person answered after a few reroutes and short wait.  California Check Cashing is yhe business.   Someone I know used me as a reference and contact person.  They called and asked me to contact that person and ask to call them. It's a legit business.

This number called my cell this morning. I literally just got this new number less than a week ago.  No voice mail. So I called back.  They picked up and hung up. After reading all these terrible things I'm just gonna block the number. I don't owe anyone money!

Andrea Derefield-Vishak supplies drugs to her employees and does it with them even on the job. I also saw burn marks on the employee who claimed he was doing drugs with her and they burnt eachother while high. Do not trust this company. About to call HR because I hear nothing but horrible stories.

Pete your the POS trying to act high and mighty when in fact you came to this site yourself trying to figure out why this number was calling you obviously because you haven't paid a bill. I started getting calls from this number the day I got my new phone number and have tried several times to call them back and inform them I'm not the person they are trying to reach. They call from all other sorts of numbers as well and I today I was forced to go to Verizon and have them change my number just so these people will stop calling me. So to anyone that has to deal with these people I feel sorry for you and wish you the best of luck. As for you Pete you seem to be a real piece of scum and I hope you have a terrible life for trying to put others down that are in the midst of hardships financially from sounds of everyone else's post on here.

I think you are wasting your rant there, Ethan , as Pete seems to have been a fly-by troll just waiting to add his own piece of venom. The other reason I think this is, you a replying to a post that is 7 1/2 years old  and good old Pete has probably disappeared up his own self-righteous a**.

I get this call everyday starts around 8 AM Same person same message . Saying that they (We are calling about a imported  Business matter please call back at 866-354-0567 but never said why they are or never said what company

Why do you have to be so rude and judgmental?  My bills are paid every month before they're even due and no, I don't have anything past due, and I don't write checks and yet I got a call from these people as well.  I have worked consistently since 1992 so don't try to lump everyone in the same category.  Why would you even need to look at this post if you're not getting calls too?
