McAfee automatically re-newed every year.But I never know it.I  paid A$170.90 already in 16/12/2011,so I want to McAfee pay me back.

Got charged 74.36 when I do not use MCAFEE on 12/21 on my computer any longer. Have a totally new one. The number was in the paperwork on line for the checking purchase I did not make!

I certainly got a shock when I saw a debit of £54.99 this month from Mcafee.   When you first buy a year's virus protection you give your details presuming that the company is trustworthy.  Clearly some companies out there are ruthless and don't care who they rip off.  I won't be giving any bank account details online in a hurry.  Very poor service indeed.  Hope you got your money back.  I shall be trying to contact them tomorrow.  Good luck.

I just got my statement today and sure enough there was a charge from MCAFEE for $84.99.  This charge was made without my consent and I never even got a phone call!  After reading all the posts I am calling immediately and demand a refund to my credit card!  The nerve of this company!! We all should report it to B.B.B.

I called the number and was successful in getting the amount refunded and was also successful in getting the automatic renewal option taken off

Have just been scammed by MCAFEE on this number (8666223911).   Rang the uk number and engaged in a totally unsatisfactory exchange of words and after 16 minutes received the promise of a refund but no satisfactory explanation regarding why MCAFEE took £24.99 from my account in January 2011 and a further £54.99 in February.   It is impossible to trust these people and I certainly will not be doing so in future

My credit card was stolen and, according to my last bank statement, a call was made to Mcafee 866-622-3911 IRL on March 11th, 2012 for which I was billed $49.99. No doubt you must e aware of the person who purchased a product from you. If you can provide me with this information, I will pass it on to the Bank of Montreal

I have had the same problem as all the above complainants and think this way of doing business can be barely legal.   I called the UK Number 020 79490107 and was successful in obtaining a refund of £54.99 , taken wrongfully from my account in Feb.2012.   Mcafee have, however, kept the £29.99 taken from my account in Jan.2012 for my 2012-2013 renewal.   I now have an unprotected computer message from them stating that I need to renew my 2012-2013 subscription.!!!    I will never trust Mcafee again and will do business with Avira in future.   I must now make another telephone call, at my expense, despite having been told by the Mcafee call centre operator that this was a free phone line.   Lies on top of fraud!!

I was scammed too.  Charged twice for McAfee products I don't use nor requested.  I have tried to email McAfee Customer Support but keep getting an automated email message that brings me back to the Chat and Email support.  I have made a complaint with McAfee about this and if they don't reimburse me promptly I will have to go to my bank and get them to follow it up.

Got charged $85 and I don't even have their products.

Just checked my account and to my surprise found that an amount of 37.48 USD have been debited from my account for Automatic McAfee Renewal. Immediately googled the number and found out that this happened to quite good number of people. Called the customer service and asked them to refund the amount and deactivate the automatic renewal. They said the refund would happen in 7 to 10 days.

Thanks to all those who posted this without which I would have no clue what to do!!!

I HAVE JUST NOTICED I HAVE BEEN DEDUCTED $52 FROM MY CREDIT CARD WHICH I DONT EVEN USING MCFEE SECURITY SYSTEM AT THE MOMENT.
