why have I been charged £54.99 from your company

The same thing happened to me and I called them. They agreed to reimburse my card. They will also email an offer of extended coverage that I can accept or not and will  only charge my account if I accept and provide them with the go- ahead,  I submit that is the proper the manner to proceed and they should have proceeded this way instead of charging my card without my express permission. For that reason I will be looking at other security systems prior to deciding whether to continue with MACFFE of not.

McAfee automatically renewed my virus scan subscription on 30-12-13 without my permission and charged my credit card without me knowing it.How do i get my money back?

I did not get a telephone call but was automatically charged 54,99 GBP from my creditcard with reference MCAFEE 866-622-3911 (IE) for something I did not order. I tried to call the number from Bemlgium with prefix 0044 for UK but the number is not valid. How can I get in contact with them?

I received a charge on my personal Checking account for an up grade to a company computer ?
How in the HE-- did the get my personal checking account info.

Stole $84.79 from my account also!!!!!!! How long has this practice been going on???? From reading other comments, it looks like it's been years of thievery, and that it is global as well. Why is nothing being done about this?  Someone needs to be in prison for this.....or worse.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and there was no phone call, just taken out of my account and I have no idea HOW they got my information..

I never had McAfee and a charge appeared on my account from them with this number. I called my credit card company and was told this is a way people who steal credit card numbers check to see if the card is active.

I noticed GBP 59.99 was deducted from my credit card on the 1st of July.  never made any transaction. I have reported to my bank to notify them that it is an un-aw/unauthorized transaction.

$107.00 was taken out of my account on September 30, 2014 and I had to stay on the line for over 30 minutes to get a service request #. I was told that it would be refunded into my account within five business days. Let's see how true this is.  I have no idea how they got my bank information and the authorization to bill me without notice. I just saw the withdrawal from account. ANGRY WITH MCAFEE!

Dear Rob, same thing on exactly the same day 31/07/2014 and booked on 01/08/2014 by MCAFEE with details on VISA records: 866-622-3911 IE for 69,95€. Not reqeusted, informed or anything else. How can this be possible and how many are there like us? I contacted them by mail and will wait 2 or 3 days for an awnser or refund.

Checking my Credit Card statement, noticed a payment of USD 59.99 was made without my knowledge to McAfee 866-622-3911.  I had had no notification or correspondance regarding this.

Charged $89.99 by McAfee for what I do not know!! I did not authorize this charge. Dialed telephone number 8666223911 and circuits are busy, so couldn't get through. Will keep trying to call, but their business practices are highly questionable as the majority of ethical companies contact customers that renewals are happening and give the opportunity to decline offer before charged.
