these guys call us several times in a day...and dont speak anything...again and again picking up their call from busy schedule is very frustrating...

please report these people to the authorties,they call up to 5 times a day,never speaking. have called at 7 15 sunday morning. they must be dumber than a rock!   must be forigners,when they do speak it is a very heavy accent.

I just contacted Discover Card and told him I was being harrassed by 866 phone calls that I understood were associated with Discover card. I asked to be removed from their calling list - the guy on the other end seemed know exactly what I was talking about. He said he had removed me from their solicitation list.

I told him it was pretty stupid to have someone doing solicitations when they never talk to you.

Since just about the election, the rate of unsolicited phone calls has gone up dramatically at my house.  It doesn't seem to matter if you're on the DNC or not.

Called my business line. When I answered she apologized and said she had the wrong number.

Said they were calling from discover looking for another person.  I told them wrong number and they said  "I'll note that down"  whatever that means.  We'll see if they call again.

Another mysterious caller who when you answer hangs up?  sausages !

They call the office, when we answer they hang up without responding. It is very annoying, they should at least apologize or acknowledge they have the wrong number.

Just call Discover and tell them to remove your name from their list. The problem is that the "do-not-call-list" does not include companies you do business with so if you have a Discover card or have applied for one, you will get calls!

They were courteous on the phone and apologized. The annoying part is that they kept waking up my 3 months old infant (2-3 calls per day)

Let's see if this makes them go away!

They call every day, sometimes more than once. They never leave a message on the answering machine.

I get this call all time too and most of the time they hang up but I did speak to someone last night at almost 9PM and they tried to get me to sign up for Identity theft on a credit account and when I refused stating that I don't do these kinds of things over the phone unless I contact them he got quite rude. I called my account manager and reported it, along with info I found when I googled the number and they assured me I would be removed me from the call list. I don't know if this will help me or others.

I am receiving calls from this number every day including Sundays.  I would like for them to stop.

This number calls all hours of the day. I have reported to the federal call complaint center with no success. They continue to call starting at 8am ending around 10:00pm. They call anywhere from 4 to 6 times per day. It is usually more on weekdays than on weekends. They do not leave a message and when I answer the phone no one will reply. It is very annoying and disturbing to get these calls especially late in the evening when we are trying to relax.

I have a Discover card, and since November the number of these calls has increased.  At first I just politely told them I wanted to opt out of their services.  Last month I started telling them to take me out of their database, but they kept calling.

Following everyone's advice in the thead, I called Discover and they politely (and quickly) took me off their solicitation list.

No big deal.  Wish I would have done this months ago.

I get calls from this number every day, sometimes several times a day and only the telephone number comes up on the caller ID.  I DO NOT answer calls that have no ID unless I recognize the number as someone I know.  They never leave a message just continue to call.  STOP!!!!!

April 28th, 2009...It's Discover Card...Call 1-800 Discover, put in the last 4 #'s of your account, SSN #, and your zip when prompted.  Then push '0' and you'll be connected to a live person.  Advise them to take your phone number off their telemarketer outsourced list. The operated stated it would take about two days, but it would be done!  Hoping this works...they call my answering machine about 6 times per day! (Would love to get their home phone numbers!!)...Ron

Got 3 phone calls in 1 morning - 1 every hour: 9:40, 10:40, and 11:40.  Just blocked them.  Best $5/month I ever paid.  Good for Verizon.  DOH!

Received the call on my work phone.  I don't have a Discover card.  Didn't leave a message.
