anoying calls all day long shut thenmm down

been receiving calls every day for two wks, called today 12 times. called back got a recording      crap and noone will do anything about it national do not call registry two times they still every 20 min

This number calls my house 4+ times a day.  I finally started anwering their call and there is no one there.

I returned the call and received only a brief recorded message that says "You have been contacted for marketing research or a sales call."  It repeats twice and then hangs up.

Got this call and no one was there.  Called it back and it said, "you have been contacted for marketing research or a sales call."  I too am on do not call, so I am reporting this.

Call is from a donation solicitor for Skyward Bound Ranch.  Since it is for a charitable organization, the DNC does not apply.

While visiting my parent's home this weekend, I couldn't believe the amount of telemarketing calls they receive and 866-831-4847 happened to be one of them!

It's annoying to say the least because 90% of their calls are from nonprofit telemarketers.  Unfortunately, she created this monster without knowing one vital piece of information......Nonprofit organizations SHARE YOUR NAME & TELEPHONE NUMBER!!! Oh yes, they rent & sell your information.  It's funny how your one time $5 donation to "feed the needy" has now caused you to receive calls from the Cancer Research, Alzheimers Research, Diabetes Research, etc.......

Whoever said "No good deed goes unpunished" hit it right on the nose!

Caller said she was taking donations to give a dying child his last wish. Wanted to send info for me to send money back in. Told her she could sent it but I didn't guarantee to send anything back. Wanted me to commit to an amount over the phone. Told her 'no'. She told me to have a blessed day and hung up.

They have been calling me from this phone number everyday for the past week, but what annoys me the most is that I pick up the phone and there is no answer. Some times I can hear them talking but still no one answers me. AND I'M REGISTERED WITH DO NOT CALL!!!!I'm so annoyed and mad. How can I report or block them?!?!?

We have been harassed several times in recent days by this number. A call-back reaches a auto-message saying that we've been contacted for "marketing research or a sales call".

866-831-4847 calls my cell phone and my land line several times per day. We have put both phones are on the national Do Not Call registry, but it hasn't eliminated calls from this number.
If I am there to answer they hang up. Once I called and there was an outgoing message indicating that it was a "marketing call." Perhaps returning their call gave them permission to continue pestering me, but I don't understand the purpose it is serving for them.

You have called one time too many.  Do not call my number again.  We hate telemarketing  calls and will not answer.

This number calls me several times daily and no one is ever on the line when I answer it.

Called me THREE FN TIMES today. I finally answered and got disconnected. SMH

Please do something about this. I am getting 5 or 6 calls a day, most times I don't answer it, or quickly hang up.  But today I answered the call and held on the line and someone asked me If I wanted to do an opinion poll, I let him have it, telling him how many calls I get from this number and that I am on the do not call list.

Said they were with jcpenneys and wanted me to verify my birthday. I don't think so!

866-831-4847..........Funny I was reading these, and low and behold the number comes up on my cell phone as I am reading.  It was Stonebridge Life Insurance offering protection.....I asked her to stop calling and to take my number off their calling list and she said it will take up to 30 days and apologizes for any inconveniences or calls I may get between now and then.

Maybe this stuff would stop, if some poor hacker would start posting CEO's and CFO's addresses on line or start robo call their offices.  24/7  Or just send Senator Bachman  drinking water from West Virginia or water from Duke energy , yep no problem with lead or mercury LOL rich people have their water filtered and purified  

I got one of these calls today claiming to be from DirecTV but the caller ID was spoofed.  I hung up and called DirecTV who said they are aware of it but that it's not from them.  They don't know what kind of scam is going on but not to give the caller any info.
