They had been calling 4-5 times a day for the last 2 days and i don't let people leave messages. I finally answered it today and it was a call "Friends for Froehlich" who's running for the Dem State Rep here in IL.  The lady stumbled through here 20 second spiel and ended with "Can Paul Froehlich expect your vote?" , I said No, and she said thank you and hung up.  So, I will say it was a nuisance with them calling so often, once you talked to them it was quick and now they shouldn't be calling anymore.  I'm happy...

This number calls and disconnects the minute I pick up.  What's the point in annoying/harassing people with an auto dialer?

I have been getting phone calls from this number for weeks.  When I answer, no one is there.  Today, I answered quickly and a person with a thick foreign accent was on the other end.  They were calling for Texas Labor Law Poster Service (not a government agency, but a private company).  I had purchased the labor posters from this service last year. I then called the poster service directly, 1-877-321-4144, and was told that this number was a marketing company that called people on their behalf.  I told them about the numerous calls (reiterating most of what others have posted on this site).  They refused to give me the name of the marketing company, telling me that they didn't know who did the marketing on their behalf and of course, there was no one there who would know the name of the marketing company. While I was on the phone, I had the person take a look at some of the comments through Google.com links.  They really didn't care.

They call about 10 times a day everyday I wish I could find out were they are located. I also log a compliant in to the do not call web site but they still freaken call me.

They need to get a life and let the hard working people rest.

These people continue to call, do not even let it ring long enough for the answering machine to pick up.  Who are they?

I've been called by this number so many times, about 10-17 times a day consistently. I spoke with a woman who said their service was called 'labor law' whatever that is and I asked her why they kept calling me so much and she just kept giving me a bunch of double talk so I asked to speak to her manager and then he came on and I asked him the same question and he said they were calling all their previous customers and I told him I've never been a customer and never heard of no 'labor law' and told him about all the complaints on the internet about this number nationwide and asked him why they are harrassing all these people and he claimed they weren't harrassing anybody and said he'd be happy to take my number of their list. And I told him if they called me again I'll report them.

What will it take to make this stop!!!!! I get several calls a day and based on what I have read there I guess I can expect more.

Has called twice within about 1 hour. I did not answer. I am going to call the gov do not call list line and the Ag of my state.

They call twice a day and leave messages that's nothing but silence.  I'm calling Discover like others and see if it will help put a stop to this.  If not, I'm searching for the root...

I also receive these calls, do not answer. I called Discover Card this morning. They said this was one of their #. I asked to be taken off their list. The lady was very nice and said it would be taken care of.

This number calls me several times a day, morning and evening.  Driving me crazy!   I have tried calling the number back, but only get an automated message saying, "You have received a call for a marketing survey or sales call".  That's it, then the phone goes dead.  You can't actually speak to someone to ask the calls be stopped.  I did call Discover, per previous postings, so I hope this will work.

I have been getting calls DAILY from this number. If i don't answer, no message is left. If I answer, they hang up! I called Discover (1-800-DISCOVER) and the representative I talked to said that this number was indeed one of their numbers! She said I must have somehow gotten on one of their "solicitation" lists. I told her that made no sense because even if I DID want a discover card, how would calling me and hanging up help? All she could say is that she had been receiving lots of complaints. So all I can say is to call 1-800 DISCOVER every time you get a call from this number.

I don't answer phone calls unless I know who is calling, and if they want me to call them back, they'll leave a message.  Obviously they don't leave a message.

Multiple calls during the day - no one on the other end. I am truly sick of the idiots who do this.

I will register yet another complaint with Do Not Call.

Discover card trying to sell identity theft protection. Told her I wasn't interested. Then she asked when was the last time I checked my credit report, told her 3 weeks ago. Again said I'm not interested. She began to try to tell me why I need it, so I Yelled "I AM NOT INTERESTED"

They called and our answering machine picked up. Nobody said anything but the answering machine picked up what number they were calling from

We get calls several times a day every week.  After reading what several of you have written, I feel that it is a scam.  Some of you have written that it s from different radio stations, some of you have written that it is from Discover Credit Card Company, that sends a red flag to me that it is probably a scam.
