NOT a scam. This is a phone service for people who have been arrested. Not sure but I think they have a contract with more than one correctional facility. Our son was arrested and we received a 5 min call from him and yes there is a fee involved.  NOT  a scam but we can understand why people would initially think so.

I need a refund for this.

This is not a scam this number is when a inmate calls you from jail you have to do it to talk to you loved ones in jail i knox i do it everyday well talk to my old man i add money when i need to NOT A SCAM

I just sent the call to voicemail and when I listened to it, it said to pay $9.99 to listen to the call for 10 minutes.  BLOCKED!

It absolutely is a call from someone in jail. My question is. Im in MI. That's in TX. I don't know anyone in TX. My ex sister in law. But i guarantee after 10 years she doesn't remember my number if she is in jail which is super doubtful. Maybe i could look up recently incarcerated inmates? I'll try that. See as that idea just popped in my head. You people with your scam crap are hilarious and super naive. Whatever I don't waste my time ranting about morons. My twins better not have snuck down to texas or they can stay and learn a lesson. Lol.jk.

Received the blatantly obvious scam from 877-710-3334 at 7:30 PM July 3rd...a robo dialer pause and intentionally cut off-----"at a correctional facility. To accept this short free call and *consent* to the delivery of a pre-recorded message with information, press 1..." The the message keeps repeating that they didn't understand your (*lack of) response. LOL Then a www site for some BS sucurist tech dot com, as well as the toll free #.
What moron would fall for this scam!? SMH. The scammer showed up as "Toll Free Call"
This message was left on my answering machine which I promptly blocked that number.

As I wrote in my report about that robo dialing scamming telemarketing outfit- it does NOT give the name of any "inmate", not does it give the name of any "facility" where an inmate might be...this is intentional because it is not a call from a "friend or family" member trying to call.

I think it is a scam; the recording came on stating if I wanted to talk for another 20 minutes then I needed to enter a credit card number. SCAM

Robo call looking for money

Marion county jail in Marion, Ohio

Something about setting up an account and they might use my phone location for an investigation. Left me a voicemail. Don't know anyone that is an inmate.

This is a scam. Checked with the county jail they supposedly kept calling from for "bail money" since they were calling multiple times per day. Do not give personal info and block the number!

If you get that phone call it is from someone in jail using their one phone call and it could be your mother brother father or child so I would accept the call
