I owe money ya right scam call

I dialed this number back and it named a company, saying it was inmate telephone services. What?? No thank you.

Phone rang at 4:48 a.m. then again at 5:27 a.m.  I picked up phone and a recording came on saying an inmate from a correctional institution is wanting you to accept a collect call..  It is definitely a scam call.  I am on the National Do Not Call List .I wish someone could put a stop to calls like this..

I got a call fromthis number and they left a voicemail about buying minutes i looked up the number and its about inmates ....its not a scam call at all my ex called....i did NOT accept no no for texas

Left a voice mail and said if I wanted to hear a free message just hit 1
needless to say, I didn't hit 1

Well while it continues to ask you for a payment to so called accept the call, why is this company refusing to tell you the so called inmates name that is calling you???

I have started getting this call too.  It leaves a voicemail saying it is a call from an Inmate.  Then another voicemail says to be able to receive call from a loved one who is incarcerated, well, I have no loved one in prison, so I have blocked the number.  And yes, you would think that by now this number would be out of commission as long as people have been getting this call.

I got a call from this number this morning. I was at work and couldn't answer but a message was left: ".. an inmate at a correctional facility. Call came on at 6 AM

They call asking me to pay money to hear the voicemail every 5 minutes and it is slowing down everything else on my phone because of it

Call my cell phone, it was a recording asking for a debit or credit card to except a call from a guy in May at a correctional institution. I hung up.

It isn't actually a scam.  The call IS from someone at a correctional facility.  By accepting the call you agree to the $14 charge.
However, if you go to https://securustech.net  in advance and set up an account (with $ on the account), you can talk to the inmate for pennies.

I keep getting recorded messages from  1 877 710.-3334 claiming an inmate was trying to contact me. I have no idea who I know that might be in jail or why they'd be calling me. This truly appears to be a scam. When I went to the securustech website the telephone number listed is different. The live chat option doesn't work and the customer service number will not allow you to speak to a real person. I would be VERY  cautious of these calls.

I got a call at 3am this morning and I figured it was a scam just like most of you. However I kept receiving calls from this number throughout the day. I finally decided to answer and accept the charges on the off chance that someone I knew actually needed my help. And I'm glad I did. This IS NOT a scam like I thought. A friend of mine was in jail and needed someone to sign for him to be released.

Have received two calls so far. I didn't answer either of them but the one voicemail I received said something about it would use my cell phone location in an investigation. It then wanted me to pay for something or add money to an account for future phone calls.
