I picked up and it said it was a call from an immate in DE named Daniel i haven’t known any Daniels since emlemtry school besides the one I saw 5 min ago at Walmart in MD

Received a call from Brock Sheriff's facility, or something like that. Anybody from the US would know how to really word that.

Its not a scam.  Its my brother calling from a jail in Kentucky.  Not going to answer it because i no longer speak with him. He's a drug addict

Said they were an inmate correctional facility calling me.

Keeps harassing me also for money I don't owe.

This number has been spamming me incessantly, only 3-4 seconds apart. There is no way this is legit with that. Blocked them.

Securus is not a debt collector. They are a telecommunications company for inmate calling from jail. I have an account for a family member and I got the call because of low funds on account.

When someone is in jail and they attempt top call a person they know. This is the number that the call comes from. So you don't think inmates should be able to make phone calls!?

Scam call from jail

if you listen through the whole message it gives you the name of the inmate calling you.  they are only out of their cells at certain times, which makes calls sometimes at odd hours.  if you dont know anyone in jail, its probably a wrong number.  they are usually going off memory and guessing at their friends and families phone numbers.  do not call list has nothing to do with it.

when you get locked up, presumed innocent, but still locked up, they take your cell phone as well as everything else down to your dignity.  if its not a friend or family member then most of the time its just someone trying to get ahold of someone with a number close to yours.  think about it, how many phone numbers do you have memorized that you can recall in a stressful situation?  they dont get to use the white pages, google, or any other reference.  makes you a little more vigilant in paying traffic tickets on time!  cause an unpaid traffic ticket lands you in county “scamming” people as you say until you finally get the number right!

This is not a scam, but in fact is someone calling you from jail/prison. Prices they charge are a scam, but the phone call is someone you know wanting to talk to you from jail.

Repeated multiple robo messages on cell every day re sending money to an inmate.No one I know is incarcerated.

This is a phone service for prison systems. Our calls started innocently enough due to mistaken identity (new number) and went unanswered and un-returned. Then they started coming one after the other and all hours of the night waking us up. We don't know any prisoner there. Through my phone carrier, I found out that you can call the number and choose option 7, then 1, then 1 to block your number, permanently from their system.
