- Bernie| 1 replyThere should be a way of being able to block unwanted numbers like this. The other one, if not as expensive is 61201. S0 beware of both of these numbers as they seem to call about 3 times a month and cost you £5 and over
- Ron replies to Berniethe fcuker charged me 18 pounds.
to stop the srevice just text STOP to 88818 or ehatever number you have been getting the texts from - Grey WolfI entered a competition hoping to win goodies for my grandchildren and was asked to leave mobile number for contact if I had won. Within 8 days my pay as you go mobile credit had gone down by almost £13 due to the unsolicited money grabbing texts sent from 88818. Pity any poor sod who falls foul of them. Have texted STOP to 88818 and hopefully they will.

it comes through from online compettitons. (msn and stuff) i cant find the small print that says "yes you can charge me" but they do! unless you contact them with "stop" within 24hours of receving a txt from them. or so it seams. the terms are in the address above. - KellyHi I'm Kelly and I have just got rid of 88818 after I lost £20 off them and have not got any back from them. They sed I was most likely to win an Ipod when I was fooled in to letting them have my phone number. I rang the Help line on 0870 609 3042 and have blocked their number from my phone. Advice? do give them anouther chance when they say I need your phone number to help you because the'er not lying.

- kelly replies to KellyHey, you can catch me at the bottom
- ToddI lost 22.50 due to these guys before I saw their charges on my phone bill. I had no idea that I was going to be charged 1.50 per text. I'm not even sure how they got my phone number. They send out texts in baches of 3, so they've got 4.50 before you know what's happend. An email from the company says they clearly outline the costs, but I think this page shows that is not the case.
My question is, who are the proper authorities to file a complaint with? - DorothyThis number is taking money from my mobile phone. Have tried to cancel or unsubscribe, but no facility on website.

- Smarymarkety| 1 replyI have tried to stop these calls. Also ones from 87771. My mobile phone provider advised me to send a text message STOP ALL to the numbers and they should stop. Failing that the customer service numbers to call are 0870 2480277 (87771) and 0845 1309911 (88818). Weekdays only.
