• www.phonepayplus.org.uk - LesleyTried to join the site on Facebook which allows you to see wo's been viewing your profile...was a compulsory step in registering for this 'free' service to enter a 'free' competition.............and, you've guessed it, this is how they accessed my mobile number. Within seconds of me entering the data on Facebook I received 3 texts from this number and became concerned. Thanks for the advice on here....I texted STOP and had a further e-mail confirming my 'subscription' has now stopped. Relieved...but wonder what 4 texts within 2 minutes has just cost me!!!!

- Lesley replies to John MartinDon't send narrative texts......they only respond when you send STOP to the number. Must be uppercase and only that word.
- Mrs M StevensonMy nephew has had 9 messages from 88818. The sending of such unsolicited text messages must be illegal and flouting all legislation. There needs to be a parliamentary investigation into what is happening with firms who are using this dodgy practice, and the mobile phone companies who allow these charges to occur should also be held to account.

- SueBWell at least I know I am not alone, I started getting texts from them at the end of October but just deleted them.
Only when I got another 3 this week did I think I might just check who juicywin.com were. So pleased I did. Texted STOP and have received a text confirming they have stopped all texts - will have to wait and see if this is correct!
At no point did I receive a text advising me that I would be charged £1.50 for the honour of them sending me the texts for competitions that I would never consider entering!
VERY ANNOYED!- Caller: JuicyWin
- Les HicksComplained to 02 about 88801 thieving pirates what they are.
I was told they were nothing to do with 02 (funny that as they send 3 or 4 texts immediately after topping up) To stop them either text STOP to 88801 or ring 08451309911 to stop them.
Good luck - Lollipop replies to Kelly| 1 replyYeah, I got two messages from that number. I'd never given anyone my number.
I text STOP, and they sent me one saying they'd cancelled all the messages to my number.
