Same as everybody else, I signed up to a free prize draw, and gave my number to be contacted if I win, and have since received these unsolicited texts. I have just sent STOP, I hope this will do the trick. Is this legal?

I had a text message Draw from "Juicy" which said; "if you don't want to enter this draw text "STOP" and you will be withrawn…" I did and was hit…
DO NOT REPLY!! Bin it!!! I sent STOP to Juicy and got my phone bill increased by £15. I found they operate through SB7, who after much discussion sent a cheque 5 days later. They refused to deposit the money into my bank or phone a/c…
so BEWARE!!! Bin any doubtful mail messages.

I kept getting these stupid texts and assumed they were left over from a Sky online competition ... until I saw the charges - these guys are worse than politicians and banks! Text STOP to 88818 which promises to stop the texts - of course we've all lost our money with no chance of getting it back. As I'm on JSA - they've taken all my credit on my only link to the possibility of work. Why don't our inept politicians keep this crap regulated?
We pay taxes to protect our society and this stuff is allowed?

I received text messages on my mobile from text number 88818 - JUICYWIN.com for the last two weeks and have been charged for at least 6 messages at £1.50 =£9.00 and possibly outstanding text messages on my mobile but could not put them through as I had no money left on my phone.
I think it is disgraceful that they can text your mobile without you knowing about it. I have spoken to the  mobile provider and they receive a contribution for the service which I think is all wrong. They should put a STOP to this now. I have spoken to Consumer Direct and will need to contact the companies direct to try to get a refund.
