YOU are funny. ha ha ha! because I am 19 years old, I dont owe ANY money to anyone. These ppl started HARRASSING me THREE days after i had my cell phone activated. You cant sit there and say we are just complaining because we dont want to pay a debt that we owe! because we dont owe those LOW LIFE ppl anything! Ok thank You very much! Have a Nice day!

I've been getting calls from these people as well, once or twice daily for the past couple weeks. I usually just ignore the call... Today I finally decided to call them back and see what they were claiming I owed. Turned out the debt was legitimate.. A hospital bill I had long forgotten about. So after reading everyone's claims and stories about this company I was skeptical and was ready to fight these people... Surprisingly I found them to be very pleasant, cooperative,  and they even settled my debt for 50% of what I owed.

I am not doubting anyone or calling anyone a liar, I am sure what you went through wasn't made up. Just sorry the rest of you haven't had a good experience with these people. As a heads up if there is anything that you think you might owe, you may want to give them a chance to explain instead of ignoring them like I did! Oops!

I am getting the SAME calls and KNOW I don't owe any debt.  They say to call that number back and ask for a Ron Jackson.  Do you think I am crazy?  How do you get this stopped!!????

look folks...the only thing you do when you talk to them...is get thier legal mailing address...if they wont give it...you sue for 1k...plus court costs and lawyer fee's...also...if they contact you by phone..and fail to mail you a collection letter...you get another 1k...plus cc and lf...and...in the conduct of thier business with you...if they lie to you...you get 1k every time they lie...plus cc and LF...

now...once you have thier address...its simple...send them a cease and desist letter...you can find them if you google "collections cease and desist letter"...send it certified mail, return reciept requested...then they should stop calling you...but on the off hand chance that they dont...each contact is a cause of action...each violation could bring punitive damages...plus...1k per violation, plus CC and LF...

in the end...it comes down to one thing...if they want to talk to you...they must do it in court...thats where the fun begins..."sue your creditors" at creditinfocenter.com has a guide to this whole process...its the poor mans lawsuit against the huge, immoral corporations that flaunt the laws that protect us all...by all means...it is justice

got calls coming in for a neighbor .. *ugh*~ . . wants me to give them a message -- I asked them for their there billing address - they asked why . .  well, because, If I was going to be a message service I need to send you an invoice for services rendered . . .or -- one guy try to tell me that he was going to FORCE me into bankruptcy -- I asked him if he thought a 2 man tent would cover the bill . .LOL*~ . . . or --  I just ask them if they think -- peter puffing should be legalized . . and then they hang up . . .

By reading other letters on this sight I see that I'm not the only one that have been getting called on a daily bases by this AWL Sourcing comp. I mean really do they think that I live in the dark ages without access to the internet. They call me asking about my mother but will not disclose as to what they want. I am her power of attorney and if she has any debts I am the first to know. I think that its time to get my attorney involved..atleast to stop them from calling at all hours of the day..I work night so I sleep through the day but AWL sourcing won't let me sleep

The statute of limitations is different in a lot of states.  But same idea: you say you owe the money and the time starts running again.

every time they call and I answer, they immediately hang up. Repeated harassment will get them nowhere. SCAMMERS. They are about to get a call from my atty, and HE wont hang up on THEM, I promise that.

these people call me EVERYDAY 3 times a day. its annoying. im only 15 i dont owe any money!!!

Problem is they do not say WHO they or calling. My phone is a cell and this company calls all the time and uses my minutes. If they know who they are calling they should MAIL what they want. It is wrong for them to assume that they are calling the right person. Cellphone numbers are changed fairly often.

These "people" from this "company," have been calling me daily for several months.  Wanting to speak to my son about a debt that he supposedly owes.  I asked them AND was GIVEN the information about the debt, and the age of the debt & location & company of the original debt.  Now then here is what REALLY bothers me.  The age of the debt for MY SON as they claim it is, is from 1998.  I am in my late 30's.  My son has not even turned 5 years old yet, so HOW is it that my son born 4 years ago (as of this posting) has a debt dating all the way back to 1998?

What this company has not realized is that they themselves have committed identity theft.  OF A MINOR.  When I asked them to give me the SSN of the account holder, they rattled it off straight & clean.  My 4 year old son NOW has bad credit because of this company having done a "hard pull" on his credit report.  

Armed with the above information I approached an attorney that I know of and gave him a bit of the back ground.  3 days later He called me up and had me to his office.  We are now in the process of suing this company for damages, harassment, Violations of the FCRA.  I will repost when I have further information.

No, they're NOT legit. They're zombie debt collectors. Contact your state attorney general's office if you get calls from this company!

It is sad in this day and age that it is legal to make these calls, especially repeated calls for someone you don't know!  Since David's Bridal gave out my information to every marketing agency under the sun, I do not answer ANY 800, 888, 866, etc. numbers.  (I am registered on the do not call and they call any way).  I am extremely thankful that others post their experiences and allow me to look up who is calling so that I don't miss an important call!

This number has called me constantly for the past month. The exact voicemail message left is:


" This is an important message from AL W sourcing a debt collection company. This is an attempt to collect a debt. And any information obtained will be used for that purpose. Please return the call to Ron Jackson at (888) 379-4884. Again, that's Ron Jackson. At (888) 379-4884. Thank you. A L W sourcing is a debt collection company. This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. "

When I answer the call, a recording says:

" Hello. This is a message from......... Goodbye. "

I am a minor, therefore can not be in debt. This is a fraudulent call. Do not provide any any information and threaten them with legal action if you get the chance to speak with a real person.

I really do not understand why the law cannot prohibit this badgering. Calling all hours of the night, not leaving messages when they call.  I owe no debts and I have a AAA credit rating. I have reported this to the proper authorities and they tell me thay cannot do anything about it, but will investigate when they receive enough complaints. What a bunch of crap!  We should all resort to homing pidgeons for communications and put these people and the phone companies out of business since the phone company says their hands are tied also. Boy, I bet you if we all boycotted our respective telephne providers, they would find a way to put a stop to this harrassment immediately.
