Very unprofessional, loser.

Not sure on this company.  Just had a call from 864-236-4365 asking for someone else and is not at that number.  Simply called and asked for that person and never said who they were.  Not sure how they got the number, it is never used and usually never answered, used more for emergencies.  They may have been calling a long time but as I said that phone is usually not answered.  Based on the posts, it appears there are major issues with legal proceedings.  I once had a couple of debts that got into collections, they had been automatic payments and they stopped taking the payments so I concluded they had been paid.  They decided to stop taking the payments and passed it to collections which was confusing at first.  I agreed to pay but later some of the employees at the collector for one debt made statements on the phone that proved to be false, then they refused to put things in writing.  Why refuse to put something in writing unless they have something to hide.  One debt was resolved and the other lost when they eventually called me a liar when I said I did not like being called at work and they said "you are not at work" even though I was.  They had already denied a payment agreement we had, and it was in writing on their letterhead so the accusation I lied plus the fact I kept all the documents with their letterhead stating our payment agreement destroyed their chances.  
Knew another person who had a law office call them about a debt, and it was for a fee for use of certain technology.  The person moved and cancelled the service.  The service tired to bill the amount and was told it had been cancelled, then a year later my friend got a call from a law office, demanding payment.  When stated it had been cancelled and no payment was due, they said read the contract which they asked me to do also, and it agreed with us, no payment was due.  My firend said lets go to court if you think you are correct, and they never went to court.  Stopped calling also.  Seems they threaten court, but not always have the legal basis to go.
This Overcash character and his office sound along the same lines.  Many times in the past it was said there are some few who give the others bad names, but it seems many more violate the rules which is why they refuse to put it into writing.  How do they get a phone number that is not listed and has no connection to the person they are looking for.

This is an issue with many institutions today.  Called and asked a bank about their policy that may have violated contract law, and the bank stated it is their policy and they claimed it was legal to do what they did, but when asked if they could put that in writing to be kept with the file, they refused.  Again, it makes one wonder why they refuse to put it into writing.  Based on these posts, this Ed Overcash, has employees that go beyond the legal limits but if he was a former judge, he knows how to work the system.

I received call today asking for someone else the lady asked if I was related to that person but if they keep calling me ( sense it's not me they are looking for) I WILL contact an attorney and file suit for harassing me.

Never borrowed any money from overcash. Junk debt collectors should be shot. Mess with th wrong people and you will die.
