- Caller: Unknown
- LizzieI have been getting these calls this week and if it continues I will writing to watchdog! Talk about harrassment, and funnily enough just like Karen it's always around 4pm!
- Davey15 times over 3 days! When you pick up there's no one there. Doing my head in!
- JasonHad a missed call today, then mother answered another call 20 minutes ago. The caller asked for a person who doesn't live here.
I did a 1471 to call them back and tell them to stop calling and got the message
'You were called today by homeserve, we will call you back later'.
I too have BT blockers etc and am not happy if this is a number that charges a premium rate when you call it back to stitch you.
Be aware 01922 420057 is probably a scam!!- Caller: Homeserve??
- homosap replies to Charliethanks for the infogetting tired of these calls

- cccumberJust had a call from this number as well, I've never heard of Homeserve, so I've no idea why they're ringing me.
- VickyI kept getting calls from this number despite frequently telling them I wasn't interested in insurance. I have called Homeserve on their customer service number 0800 923 9090 and they have said they have taken me off the telesales list. I'll wait and see if it works!
- Caller: Homeserve
- Call type: Telemarketer
- John EdwardsGood to see others have had these calls, I have had 4 calls from 01922420057 in two days. Damn annoying, especially as I am waiting to hear back from companies regarding job interviews.
- Jane HHomeserve AGAIN!
I can't understand why they haven't been prosecuted yet for making nuisance calls. We used to get them ringing us all the time, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day, so about two months ago I followed advice from earlier on this thread and rang up their customer service, asked for a supervisor, and got us taken off the list.
Or so I believed. Although we have opted out of receiving sales calls, we got another insurance sales call about three mins ago from ... yes, you've guessed it. HOMESERVE!
I hate Homeserve. Just seeing the company name makes me feel physically sick. When they ring - and infuriatingly ring off just as you reach the phone - I want to scream at them to get lost (though less politely). And when you do complain about their calls, believe it or not, they get this frosty tone, as though you're in the wrong for not wanting to be pestered endlessly by unwanted sales calls.
When will they get the message that this kind of intrusive behaviour is counter-productive? The more this happens, the worse their reputation will grow, the less people are going to choose to get tangled up with them. We had one policy with them, years ago, and now ... we're really suffering for it!- Caller: Homeserve
- Call type: Telemarketer
- WendyI have just had one and I never give my number out anymore so I have no clue where this has come from.
A good tip if you have to give a telephone number on anything is to use your mobile number and then you can choose to press the refuse call button if I don't know who it is this seems to work well as it costs more for companies to call mobiles and so you hardly get any cold callers. - Darren OwenVery annoying phone calls to my mother in the UK - they call, my mum answers the phone and nobody talks to her. I've called the homeserve head office and requested that they remove the number from their telesales list. we'll see what happens, incredibly annoying company.
- Caller: Homeserve
- Call type: Telemarketer
- GeorgePlease someone stop them.
- TinaThis company rings almost every day and asks for my husband. I tell them that he is at work and they hang up. I realised it was Homeserve because I googled it.
- Caller: Homeserve
- Becca| 1 replyWe've had calls from this number too, everyday, usually in the afternoon... the caller is silent... very mysterious!
- tickled pink replies to BeccaWe have Homeserve for our boiler. It covers the annual service and 24/7 breakdown. Never needed to claim for a breakdown yet, has anyone else got this policy and made a claim and had a problems. From previous comments the main culprit seems to be the water pipe insurance. Have you had a problem claiming for the boiler. Unfortunately, you do not have much choice or whom you can turn to. We use to deal direct with Valiant, but they have since outsourced their servicing to Homeserve.
We do and have had calls as to whether we are interested in taking out a policy for water pipes, we have always told them not interested.
Look forward to hearing your comments. - PorsheHas phoned at least twice today possibly more.
Rung off before I could get to the phone.- Caller: 01922 420057
