Someone phoned me 10 times in one night ,   she just wouldn't  stop !!!!

Having answered several of these 'phone calls in the past and finding nobody there, I in desperation used this site to find where the area code originated. Imagine my amazement when I discovered other disgruntled people with the same problem, and what's more I found it was Homeserve who were the culprits. Today I had a further call which I answered and astonishingly there was a young lady at the other end. I lost no time in telling her that I knew she represented Homeserve and that her call was unwelcome,and, what's more my number was preferred and she should not be calling it, She apologised and said that I would not be troubled again.  Let's hope so!!

I KEEP ON RECEIVING PHONE CALLS FROM 01922 420057.  WHEN I ANSWER NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING, THEN THEY LAUGH AND HANG UP.  1471 REVEALS THAT THIS NUMBER BELONGS TO HOMESERVE, HOWEVER WHEN YOU RING IT ALL THAT HAPPENS IS YOU HEAR A RECORDED MESSAGE AND THEN THE PHONE GOES DEAD.  THIS IS HAPPENING SEVERAL TIMES A DAY AND IT IS UPSETTING NOT ONLY MYSELF BUT MY TWO CHILDREN WHO HAVE ALSO ANSWERED THESE CALLS - MY SON, WHO IS DISABLED HAS ANSWERED TWICE AND THIS HAS SPOOKED HIM SO MUCH THAT HE HAS THROWN TANTRUMS AFTERWARDS.  I'M BEYOND FED UP WITH THIS NOW.

I used to work for homeserve 100 days for £1 cover!!! lol
The more u hang up or give abuse the more people in the centres put calll backs. The only way to beat the calls is either buy the cover and wait for the next call in a month or so or just listen and then say your covered alredy. Be polite and they will disposition the call correctly and you wont be pestered no more. The more you get aggy its funny so u just get more calls,
btw.. all homeserve products are awful. Just stick to home insure.
p.p.s. you can cancel at ANY time you dont have to wait for it to renew!!

Received couple of calls from this number 01922 420057 selling service for just £1 for three months trial. Would not let up when I refused to give bank details over the telephone and could not offer the same info and offer in the post. Funny eh?

Googled it 01922420057 is Homeserve
Did have a policy with them but canclled earlier this year too many price increases never had cause to use them

I've lots of calls from Homeserve & try to get rid of them politely.
Now I've had this 01922420057 number hounding me but now I put the phone down.
I've e-mailed Homeserve to get them to delete my details from their hit-list.
Not always easy to find an e-mail address that accepts complaints !!
No big surprise there.
I Tell 'em to get a proper job or go to further education to get a qualification.

Sick of persistent calls from this no. No one on the end if I can beat 1571 to it, and when I try to call back there is no facility to leave a message! I would like to vent my fury on someone in this organization for the annoyance factor and how did nthey get my ex-dir no. anyway?!!

I've had calls from them for ages now, 2, 3 or 4 times a day. I've spoken to team leaders there twice already asking for my details to be removed, but still the calls continue.

I rang them again to-day on 01922 659359, held as instructed by the recorded voice, and got through to Kelly in the customer service department. Told her the situation, she was very empathetic and said she would make sure my number was removed from the in-house system, and the 3rd party system they use for marketing.

I remimded her that if this was not done then she would be in breach of the Data Protection Act and she personally would be liable to a fine of up to £5,000 (if I remember correctly from my call centre training).

She said it would be done, and it could take up to 6 weeks for the number to come off the system.

I shall wait and see....

i do have a policy with Homeserve but not much longer, rang their customer line who didn't acknowledge this sales number,

Have been called at least twice by this number this week, same guy asking for my husband by name, saying he is from Homeserve when asked, refusing to give information to me because they are 'not allowed to.' I asked if he was advertising something and he said 'sort of,' and then I asked him to stop calling, from reading these other messages it sounds as though that might not happen! He said 'er, ok.' 01922 is a Warwick, UK dialling code.

had 3 phone calls from this number 11/6/10.didn't answer 1st two but did 1471 to see who it was.3rd time i said hello,hello,hello to make the girl caller think i couldn't hear her and then i hung up because i have had a lot of nuisance calls lately. i've just come on the computer to find out it is a nuisance call.if she calls again she better plug her ears because i am starting to get annoyed!!

So much for not being able to call after 8pm - this is the law apparently! Just had third call this evening timed at 8.30pm.

Can I stop these people cold-calling me 6 times a day?
