Called me 3 times within the space of a few hours, am ignoring the calls

Actually this company is connected with Anglian water...
I have just had a water bill yesterday, with it a letter and form trying to sell me water pipe cover, on it our 'Homeserve' freephone number for them 0800 073 1236

Be polite and they will deal with the call and stop it happening.
Also put in a complaint to Ofcom www.ofcom.org.uk. Raise am incident
they have to power to remove the telephone service, equipment etc.

The legal stuff so ofcom can fine, stop service aka the company etc.
Some advice, be polite, cos if you get in someones face that's not much incentive to help you.

Constant calling at all hours, getting beyond a bloody joke, their policies are no better, DO NOT SIGN UP TO ANY OF THEIR " OFFERS", at least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people !!

Having this call- we answer but then they hang up. Had one a day this week - did 1471. Do they expect you to call them back to tell them to [***]? Now I know its water company I will tell them to [***] in a polite way (andi) thank you.

I too keep receiving these calls from Homeserve. I already have their plumbing service but they will not leave me alone.  Something needs to be done!!!

Why do they call?????

This number is now calling me 3/4 times per day and sometimes as late as 9pm at night quite often waking my child,i have now tiold them verbally 4 times i an not interested in this product and to stop calling,but the calls continue.

Had several calls a day from these people and now they are a nightmare!! called the 0800 number above, politely asked them to take all my details off their database - without passing them on to any other 3rd party first - and hey presto - job done - silence for a whole week now - pure bliss!!

For the past week they keep phoning us at different times of the day. At first we answered it but there was nothing at the other end. Sometimes it rings off before I can get there and when I do 1471 it is the 01922420057 number again.

Another complaint here. They call any time (usually the most inconvenient!) and calls have not stopped, despite phone and email complaints.
No business for them from us!

I have received many calls from this number.01922 420057 Who ever they are they should be heavily fined.

This organastion keeps on calling my home telephone number and hangs up before answered - when called back an automatic message is received saying "Thanks for calling Homeserve an agent will call you back".

this number ( or a number very similar ) rang between 7.30pm and 8.30pm

I am ex directory and its very annoying !  when there is either no-one at the other end or its an answer phone message
I have stopped answering the phone now, and then just dial 1471 - check the number, if its someone I know ie family of friends I phone them back if not ....tough !

Up to 4 calls a day for that last four weeks !! ... each time a short number of rings and the line is quiet .... Three complaints by phone to the sales department and each time was told that thier auto phone dialer was to blame and that the complaints department would be emailed and the calls would stop  ... This is nothing but harassment and guess what ,... I am ex directory and have never before given my details to this company. HMMM ... If you are reading this Homeserve / Severn Trent Water  .... Leave me alone or WATCHDOG awaits ..

These people have called all week when I pick up the phone I do not hear anything

I received a call from this number 01922-420057 at 2.45 pm today. I realise it's is only some poor sod trying to earn a wage but surely this practise has got to be illegal. What I do now is to let the person begin to speak then I hang up. Very rude but hopefully they'll take the hint and stop bothering me.

This afternoon over a 3 hour time perod, I've had 7 'silent' calls from Homeserve.  I had a policy with them 2 years ago (drainage) and called them out one evening at 5.00pm telling them that the manhole on my drive was spewing out raw sewage.  They refused to come out, saying it was too late in the day and they would  'come out some time the next day'. !!  I rang my Council offices immediately and they were at my house within 20 minutes.  So much for Homeserve!  I only had 6 weeks to go on my Homeserve Policy and as you can imagine, I didn't renew the policy!
