number called several times no answer when phone picked up

Just looked this number up as my parents keep getting calls. They've not answered any of the calls, but the one last night was at twenty to midnight!

call today at 18.46 and many times before, driving us mad

this number is a           nuisance phoning every half hour through the day ,we have now stopped answering our phone anymore and just check the messages

got a call from 01922420557 again. No message left.

Not much help really as I have been out every time they called.

However my Caller Display registers they have called - frequently!!!!

Many phone calls from this number and no message.  I am ex directory and ask for any details held by any company, to be kept from any 3rd parties.  So, how do they get my number??!

This number 01922420057 just phone me and the guy said it was Anglia Water Direct, soi guess Homeserve and Anglian Water Direct are one of the same.

I have had calls from this number over the past weeks. Now it is on a frequency of at least one per day. Never anyone on the other end. I have invested in an answerphone recently, but they never leave a message. It just hangs up halfway through my "sorry we are not hear right now" message. At what point does this become harassment ?

Yes, just off the phone with some sales girl. Seems that Anglian Water use them as well, so if your a customer Anglian Water is passing your details on. I've rung my local Anglian Water office in Lincoln and explained that I'm on the TPS and would refer not to be phoned. (No I didn't shout)

Hopefully this will sort it.

I have been getting calls from Homeserve several times a day for about a month. They never leave a message. The one time I actually got hold of one of their agent he put the phone down on me. I can't think why they would continue with this behaviour. Don't even know what they want from me. I emailed them, but they insist that they need more details from me before being able to remove my details from their list. They want full address and post code. I consider this to be black mail and will be damned if I gave them any more details. They already know too much about me.

So from now on I will be emailing them everytime I get a call and suggest we all do the same. Clearly this has been been going on for too long and some creative response to their action.

dialed 1471 and was unable to call back......why?

I agree with everyone else - this is incredibly annoying.  Even if you answer their calls you just get a recorded message saying they will try again later.  After using this site I rang the Homeserve Head Office on 01922 426262 to complain.  They put me through to their Customer Services who promised to stop the calls, though said this could take 'up to six weeks'.  Incidentally all these calls started when I registered the purchase of a Mira shower in order to get the free extended warranty.  They presumably want us to buy some additional service from them but really these nuisance calls should not be allowed.

Everytime you get a call email them to confirm you have receive the call and that you would like to get more. Maybe that will teach them.

They are calling my elderly frail mother several times a day and trying to frighten her into buying a policy from them. What scum

We keep getting calls from this number but when we pick the phone up there's only the dialling tone  very irritating

keep getting calls from this number and they do not answer. when you dial out it goes to an automated answer service

A woman from the phone number 01922 420057 called me and asked to speak to me buy name and as soon as I confirmed my name she hung up. This is very annoying and could even be stressful for an older person.

I shall be complaining to Ofcom since I gather from looking up the number on a website that these sort of nuisance calls from Homeserve are very regular

Literally half a dozen calls a day from these muppets. I now refuse to answer. This is the most annoying Cold Caller EVER. Something needs to be done.
