all you guys are so thick! the reason they call you is because you have insurance policies with them or their affinity partners who are your water board.  You guys are so stupid that you dont know that you have direct debits going out of your bank accounts to us! get a life

Had two of these calls today from this number - we don't want them.  We are ex-directory.  Getting really fed up with nuisance callers who have no right to cold call a home number.  Someone needs to stamp on it - who is the regulator?

Reply to GET A LIFE's comments.  Well that explains it then - when they've got people like you working for them what else can we expect1  STOP calling and get a life yourself!!!!! My parent is terninally ill and we don't need nuisance callers blocking the line!!!  STOP CALLING!!

young chap phoned last night asked for my wife. as we get this call most evenings i just said we are not interested...you should of heard the abuse this young chap gave....How do you f'in know i haven't told you what were f'in offering you yet....and he called tonight aswell so i pretend to be an old women hard of hearing kept him on for 28 mins before he hung up...1-1

In response to the clever Mr 'get a life' - I have no insurance policy with either Homeserve nor the Water Board, nor any direct debits going out to "you".  You will get little joy if you keep trying the same number at our house - it's a fax machine.  Enjoy the nasty noise!

Yes this company are still at it.  Not aware of any policies with this company and neither will we have any in the future!!  We are on the preference service too so they shouldn't be allowed to ring x-directory numbers, come on BT crank up your security and stamp out these nuisance calls!!

Just had this number call me.  They hung up.  What's going on?

I've had missed calls from this number at various times of day.  Tonight they left a message on my answerphone, singing "bee bop a loo ba" before hanging up.

I'm going to raise a complaint in the morning.  I'm registered with TPS.

This number has been calling me for a fortnight, no messages on my answering machine, but shows up on caller ID.  Must have called at least 3 times a day.

The one time I was actually in and answered it, I dived on it fast to find out who it was and they hung up.

Calls three times a day for the past week. I secured the number from 1471 but have let it ring so far.

I dont belive that yoy have swearin down the fone at u cus all the calls are all recored because as agents they have to listen back to them an they ahve department to listen an screen the calls.

Get a life~ im sum cases u r totaly ritgh sum people r paying homeserve an they forget an keep paying them cus they dont look at there dd's an the agents get the blame. But not all

But what u have bin told is true call homeserve an as to be taken ov the list. Sum times ur water company also calls to set up policys with u on homeserevs behalf.
but if u does choose to complain ther will defo regiser it 4 u as i said the call r recorded an the agent will get the sake by not doin it.

But all u need to is wen they call tell them u want to be taken of the telesale list,u dont have to be rude tho cus it not them there only ther to do a job an get payed (agents dont make the rules)
Or u can call in an jus ask to b takin off the call list,on the number 0800 783 0951. U will hav to confiem ur dpa tho other wise they cant do it,as its FSA regulations. An sumtimes you get throu to very nice,helpfull people.

tell them you want to be taken off the tele mailing list they've obviously bought. they'll try to say you need to sign up in order to be taken off and will keep asking for house details but you doent need to give them

just tell them to search by phone number, that you are obviously on a calling list and that you wish to unsubscribe. this is a data protection clause they must adhere to. Also tell them you know the call is recorded so ask for the operators name so its logged - important bit is thay they hear you say this.

basically this is just cold calling done from a list rather than a man with a suitcase of dusters, but if you askt o be taken off they have to so it or they could lose the right to continue this form of dragnet marketing

All last week I was getting calls from this number, some days I would get 3 or 4 calls an hour. I have caller ID and so never picked up the phone which was when the number of calls increased. It never rang long enough for the answer machine to click in.
I am X directory as well as registered with the TPS. I can only think that BT is selling on peoples' telephone numbers to Companies like Homeserve regardless of whether we are X Directory or not.

They called last night at 8pm, again this morning at 11.15 with no one there, i phoned back and got the message it was Homeserve and they will phone me back. Hence finding this webpage!

Have phoned the Head office and was put through to someone in complaints called Jane who is going to remove me from the list (although she couldn't find me one their list in the first place). Here is her direct number if you want it 01922 659359.

I am receiving numerous calls from this number with no one at the oyher end of the line.  This has caused me a lot of distress and anxiety.  I am registered with the TPS, so I am now seeking legal advice as to what other steps are open to me to stop this happening and explore the avenues for some recompense for the distress caused

I have a Homeserve agreement, I have caller ID so I do not answer these calls I too am registered with TPS.

It is also the unavailable numbers that I also do not answer, I get 3 daily I owe no money so why would any one call so many times with no reply????
I do not answer my phone if I don't recognise the callers number.  BT charge to block unavailable numbers.
