5 times they rang and never left a message. Very odd !!!!!!!. When I try to call back the phone rings once and then it sounds as though its un-routed and hangs. Leave well alone.

just got a call from the above number. how do these people get my number is beyond me, especially when I am ex-directory and also on TPS listing for previous logged number reported. But now getting this so frequently and it is so annoying......any suggestions?

Who are they? They keep ringing me and hanging up.

Called at 10:35 hrs on 14 Jul 2010.  
Asked for me by name (female voice, Birmingham-ish accent).
Said she was calling on behalf of National  Money Savers.
When I declined to answer telephone survey, and asked how they had got my name and number (didn't get as far as stating that we are TPS registered) she rang off.

Got a call nobody spoke after a few seconds silence hung up , pain in [***].

im having the same problem. this number calls me up and then they hang up the minute i pick up the phone its so infuriating! ive had a call from them once every hour for the last five hours now its driving me mad.

two calls, first during morning phone-sales, I declined and was told that my detail would be removed from their system.

had another call, was told it was a survey they asked an spectrum of question interspersed with questions more about personal details

Later I realised that the call was from same phone number as the call during the morning.

Tried dialing the number several time, kept being cut-off!
WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!

They have called 3 times now once every day. As i have MS it takes me some time to get to the phone, but if they keep it up as my arms are still strong ill reach down the line and throttle them.
I cannot believe nobody seems to know who they are.

Called from this number today. after two-three seconds phone hung up?

last 3 days had 7 calls from this number: survey, money advise, debt concil, investment... Told them I am not interested and they should stop calling but they won't stop.

This number calling fairly regularly. The area code is from Sheffield and surrounding area. I suspect computer dialled numbers in hope someone will pick up.No messages left on answer machine when I rang earlier today no reply only a beep as if the phone cut off as the handset picked up.

they have phoned asking to speak to me 5 or 6 times today but each time have been told ive been at work and hung up straight away without even a bye! when i finally answered the phone i told them our number was actually a business number - cold callers cant continue to contact business numbers for surveys and all that. if its someone important i guess they'll phone back!

Received a call from this number - said he was doing a household survey for National Money Savers (or something similar.

As soon as I asked why he was calling and where he'd got my number from (as I'm registered with the TPS and ex-directory) he mumbled something and hung up.

Just had a call from this number.
The person who called asked for me by name, but my friend who answered said I wasn't home.  The caller then rung off.
My number is ex-directory.

Allied carpets did go bust but was bought out again.  There was a legitimite survey for allied carpets for this number/  This number is an automatic dialler and dials lots of numbers at the same time which is why sometimes there is no one to take the call of the numebr dialled,.  I work for this company and the reason it has your number is the information is bought in because you have all omitted to tick a box on some sort of form that you do NOT want marketing info.  This supercedes phone preference as you have "asked" for the call.  If you keep hanging up you will keep getting the calls,  All you have to do is politely say please take my information of your database and it will be done - just be polite.  Unfortunately lots of companies will have bought your information though,

I got a missed call from this number this afternoon, and the same number called last week.  They don't leave a message so have no idea who they are.   I won't call them back  now I know they are a nuisance bunch.  Good site.

recieved a call this afternoon from this no. the person they were trying to contact was not here, they then asked for wife, knowing the individual they were trying to contact is not married I immediately became suspicious. I then asked why the "caller" {had used my own ex directory no } to contact this person, they replied that it was about a car loan and promptly hang up.
I subsequently spoke to the person they were trying to contact who then explored all avenues of possible points of contact and drew a blank. This to me shows a blatant disregard of my own right to PRIVACY AND DOES IT CONTRAVENE the data protection act ?, or are some unscrupulous individuals out there desparate money who sell on the details of honest law abiding individuals for thier own selfish gain ?.

Just had a call from this number. I have caller display and don't answer numbers I don't recognise. Caller did not leave a message. After reading other other comments glad I didn't answer.

3 missed calls this morning on my home (TPS registered) number. Tried calling back but appears to be a fax line/
