Hung up after 3 rings - blocked.

I was deleting old entries and saving numbers to a handset directory  and found this old unsaved number.
   I googled and found a comprehensive, negative description on Tellows. I report pest calls on this website so paged back to find my own reports that 01233648537 had rang me twice on 7th December. I had put the phone down as soon as they asked me to confirm my name. ( Logical on a line where half the callers are pests) I looked through at least a page and a half, here, before chipping in on Dec 7th, each time.
    Got to hand it to the posters on Tellows. They nailed it while I just accepted a load of tosh answers from here back in December. The banks gives only a name and contact number,nothing more, to this company for the sole purpose of a customer satisfaction survey.

Had 2 calls from this number latest yesterday. Very professional male sounded convincing. Said he was  ringing on behalf of nat west. I asked him how he got my mobile number. He said nat west gave them the number for marketing purposes. Went  to nat west today reporting this. Nat west guarantee that they do not give out details. Passed the details to manager for followup action. I hope!

This number called my phone and it was displayed as "Ashford (Kent)" if that helps anyone. I'd made a recent visit to Nat West, so some comments on here are making sense to me, that it may have been them

they've recently started calling me on my mobile! Told me she's from (sounded like) Fax.  She said it was research. I told her not to bother

they're a market research company contracted by numerous companies (barclays/natwest/RBS/Aviva/USdepartment of state/Tesco Mobile/and [***] loads more) nobody is asking for your bank details, you're not able to get scammed unless you're stupid enough to give somebody certain details and if you do give out said details you'd deserve it

marketing company working on behalf RBS phones every night at 8.30 very rude and insists on doing a survey.

Survey on behalf of Natwest...I don't bank with Natwest...told them this but hadn't stopped them calling every day. No message left and I don't answer.

Two missed calls from them on my mobile tday. Says the calls were dialed in the Asford area of Kent

Call centre asking to speak to a person about their bank wanting to carry out a satisfaction survey which would only take 15 minutes. Stopped the call.

Got a missed call from the number below. No message was left. Googled it and doing what it said, reporting it.

Yet again I took the call...............Will I never learn ?

Man then said he would call back later, i asked what it was about & he said he was from a group called FACTS & was doing a survey for Natwest & did my husband manage his own business account. I said yes he does but doubt he will do a survey then i hung up. Out of curiosity i rang my husvands bank & they "never" have any cold callers doing surveys for them!! Any survey would be an automated one after dealing with a customer query!!

The guy who called had an African accent, he said he was calling to set up a nuisance call blocker (cheeky t##t) and needed to confirm my name (which he gave), my address (which he gave) and my phone number (which he gave). Obviously I refused to confirm or deny any details he supplied and when I pressed him for his company details he hung up.

I am  ex directory.caller was vague; but  mentioned Aviva.

This number has just called (8.20 p.m.) and asked to speak to my Husband.  I said he wasn't available and asked what the call was about.  He said he was conducting a survey on customer satisfaction from Lloyds bank.  I told him we have not, or never had have an account with that bank.  Very suspicious.
