Do not keep calling this number, it is very annoying when no message is left and the times that the caller is using, usually late evening. This is very un=nerving for someone who lives along. NOT HAPPY....

Had a call today on the home phone from this number.  Well spoken, professional  female calling herself, Olivia.  She asked for my son. When I said he wasn't in and asked if I could take a message, she said she was from an independent research company conducting research on behalf of his bank. Sounded  very dubious.

missed call from this number so i called it back and it said fax international market research, no one answered

Lady called, vaguely French accent, asked for me by (almost correct) name & surname - survey on behalf of Natwest, do I have 15-20 minutes.
TOld her it was far too long, maybe some other time.

Somebody with an American accent called Bob Diamond.
He wanted my private banking information.

Time wasting inconvenient junk call

Another idiotic nuisance call from the bank.


The unemployed fromer banker Bob Diamond should stand trial and if found guilty be sent to prison for 25 years and then deported back to the USA.

Strip any assets and donate them to a UK charity.

I've had at least 10 calls from this number now and it's really starting to annoy me. I decided to take it into my own hands and blow a whistle down the phone every time they ring......this still has not stopped them. I am ex-directory and very rarely give out my house number so I really don't know how this company are managing to get hold of it, unless, a company who has my number is selling it, which I do believe is quite illegal!
All they say is that they want to speak to my partner and that it's a survey. If I have to tell them once again that I DO NOT have a partner I may actually scream it down the phone. This company needs to be closed down.

Just got on call on my mobile. Actually managed to answser in time. A Male asked to speak to my partner. I replied they had the wrong number (little did he know the Partner in question is now an 'Ex'). But does anyone notice the pattern? That they ask for your Partner/Spouse, and not you - the person whose number they have actually dialled? Odd. What IS this crowd's aim?

I had a call to my phone by this number 01233 648537 20.7.2012 16.39pm. Found out it was from Ashford,Kent. I didn't answer it.

Got a call from this number,said could he speak to my husband, knew his name- when I said he was not at home and could I take a message they said it was an independant survey company and would like details about his bank account.

got this number, we are on the Telephone Preference service, they rang in the evening during our meal

What really gets me is that with the stream of comments above why don't the provider get hold of them and cut them off, this would appear to be some sort of scam

Due to recent family squabbles we now do not answer the phone, but instead let it ring to the answering machine and then and only then do we pick up if we recognise the caller. Otherwise the call stays unanswered. But we have been receiving loads of the latter type of call and today I thought to check the last number facility and check it out on this website which confirmed my suspicion that it was a scam call. I agree that these calls should be banned but with the current government I might as well ask David Cameron to arrange my pension through an off-shore non-tax-paying account.

Answered a call from this No.01233648537, a Professional sounding female asking for my son, by His full name, I explained he no longer lived here,asked if I could pass him a message, asked who was calling, advised She was from "Visa Alive".....and she hung up..!!!

Received call this morning (Saturday).  Asked for me by name, they were from Nat West Bank and would I take part in a 5 minute survey regarding a recent visit to local branch.  Caller was polite even when I declined.  How do these people know with whom I bank?  How do they have my telephone number when I am ex-directory and lodged with TPS?
Reading previous messages they appear to have people's banking details.

They're a market research company contracted by various businesses to carry out surveys on their behalf. Ex-directory isn't relevant, it just means that your number can't be listed in any publicly available directory and TPS isn't relevant because for the purpose of purely market research, they are exempt. That can be seen at http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/contactfaq.php . That they are legitimate can be seen at this not so complimentary article of RBS, the parent company for NatWest http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11959 ... ion-survey.html . They don't have access to people's account details, only a name and phone number,

I have had 7 calls from this number in the last 24 hrs. Looked up the area code & says it's an Ashford number. I never answer the phone unless the number is that of a friend or family member. We too are on the telephone preference service ( for what it's worth). On Wednesday, we had 11 calls , all witheld, unavailable or international. None left a message, surprisingly enough & although I never give them the satisfaction of answering, it is still very annoying to be disturbed/interrupted in this way, often late into the evening. Its an intrusion.
