Got a call from this number last night at 8.45pm claiming to be doing a survey on behalf of my bank, when telling them I was busy they hung up, consulting my bank {RBS} they said they did deal with the company but not anymore, so this company is cold calling on it's own behalf.

Same kind of thing in my call today, young man well spoken asked about doing a survey for my bank. Was a bit cautious as I do not like cold callers. He asked if I had been called on Tuesday 11th December by my bank, I said no and he said those were the customers they wished to speak to. Seems odd, why would he have had my number if I never had the call on Tuesday? It makes me very suspicious about who has my banking information!

wouldnt it be good if we could get say 50 people together and all take it in turns calling this company all day everyday for a week clogg up there phone line and see how they like it and see how much money we can loose them, they rang me last night at 23.40 hrs and ive had 3 calls today and its not even 17.00 yet.
so lets sort something out and see if we can get rid of them perminately, any one up for it?

They claimed to be part of Nationwide Building Society, they asked for my partner to take part in a survey..... if that had been nationwide, they would have realised that she is STAFF!!!!!

Waynkers phoned me at 9:30am on Saturday morning, and immediately hung up.
They will not do it again, thanks to info on this forum yet another number added to my blocked call list.

They keep calling but no message

No one speaks when phone rings (or when I declined the call ) they left me voice mail and lots of silence when I listened to it

Just to say this number is still doing the business. Got a call from it today at about 13:45, but did not get to the phone in time to answer - only gave 4 rings.

First time for this number but have had many others...some three or four times a day...was quiet over Christmas but they are starting again ...this one stopped before answerfone kicked in

Just had a call from this number asking for my husband. Asked what it was about. Said it was a survey about Natwest bank. I said he does not answer surveys over the phone.  Caller hung up. Keep getting calls form this number

this number has  called me 2 days running perporting to be calling me on behalf of a company that is "working" with Lloyds bank.
I have telephoned my bank - which is Lloyds - and they have assured me that it has absolutely nothing to do with them, nor have they given out my number and that therefore it MUST be a SCAM!
I have telephone preference service and it is indeed a business number.
I have telephoned BT and they have confirmed that it is registered as a business number too!
Neither of the above were very helpful however the former is sending me a complaints form - - -
What else can one do other than alert people on here - - -

when you dial 1471 you get the number of the last person that called you

Just had a similar call saying he was conducting a customer satisfaction survey for a bank.  When I told him I'm on the telephone preference scheme he said he could still call as he was not selling anything.  Was pretty obviously some sort of scam but strange their number was not withheld.
