Got a call from this number at 8 in the evening, but didn't answer

Just picked up a call from this number on my home line, the caller asked to speak to my partner (by name), I told him he was at work but I could give him another number to contact him on and caller said no he would try again later in the evening.  I didn't ask where he was calling from but can't be too suspicious otherwise he would have lapped up the opportunity to contact my partner on his work number.

They called me and claimed it was Tesco Mobile Customer Services. Said had no idea who runs customer services. Must be a cold caller. Ringing back and complaining to OFCOM and ICO! Scams!

this number called twice last night - missed it the first time.  when i answered the guy asked for me but used the wrong surname!! I just told him he must have the wrong number as I didn't recognise the area code. Out of curiosity I googled the number to see where the call came from and found this site.  I don't know how he got my number as I never give it out to anyone other than friends & family.

Unsolicited call.  They hung up when picked up phone.

Really getting browned off with this.Several times a week they ring.Won't stop despite being told to.Different person every time.

Market survey purported to be from 'your building society' but would not identify which one. Refused call and told the young woman on the other end not to ring back

Keeps calling my mobile in the evening, first time i answered and they claimed to be doing a survey for Tesco Broadband, which i do use, I was busy and she asked if she could call back, i said no. This number has now rang me 5 times this week! Very annoyed at whichever company (Tesco?) have been selling information! Very dodgy caller by the sounds of it!

This number rang today. Wanted to speak to someone who used to live here re his mortgage. Told caller the person no longer lived here and they said thankyou and hung up. We are signed up to telephone preference scheme but still this type of call gets through. The real criminal is BT.

A woman called wanting to do a 20 minute survey on behalf of the RBS.  I informed her that there is no guarantee that anyone is who they say they.  Also that if RBS want to know how I feel about them, they can write me a letter.  Our number is also registered with the TPS.

I was polite and so was she.

I am getting calls to my mobile from this number!
Its bad enough to get these nuicence calls to my landline they have now started on my mobile!!
I do not give my mobile no to people I do not know so how is this happening?
These calls are driving the country mad can nobody do something about them !!!

got this phone call from this number i didn't  answer the phone, i am ex directory also  how do they get hold of your number, from now on i am not answering my phone, i will check the number and if it is someone i need to call back i will.
people like these should be stopped

Got a call from this number at 8.47pm tonight! Said they were a market research company called Numwood phoning on behalf of the RBS. I challenged her about how she got my ex directory, never given out, TPS listed number and she told me the bank had passed it on! The RBS are possibly THE only place that have my home number! Not impressed! I asked her for a phone number for Numwood and she gave me 0113 387 9668 which is different to number she was phoning from.  Phoned RBS and they arent sure and were adamant they wouldnt give out details so waiting on someone to phone my mobile back tomorrow! I take it Facts and Numwood are same company depending on who they are annoying!

Had the same thing tonight! RBS are claiming they are nothing to do with them tonight to me! Just found this! Will make sure I have compensation from RBS after an 8.47pm call. Girl at RBS agrees but still says she is sure they are nothing to do with them anymore!

Had a call today from this number I answered and a girl asked if she could speak with me and knew my name ,even though i am ex directory.Said she was from Numwood ? and wanted to ask me some questions. i politely declined but i wont be polite next time if i get another call from this number !

This number rang several times this morning, no idea who it is as we didn't answer and no message was left.

This company have called us twice claiming to be researching Data Protection! I have not given any details and have declined from the outset.

Data blaggers... after our data. Just hang up or even better, don't pick up. Criminals don't want us to contact the ICO. It costs them. The more scam and spam calls and texts reported to the ICO, the sooner the number holder is investigated and fined up to £500,000 if they are processing our data by contacting us without our consent or trying to blag our data. You don't even need to know the company name, just the number. Remember, a genuine company will simply write.
